The apartment is exceptionnaly located in the hearth of St Germain des Près, between the places St Germain des Près and Odéon, which is also the touristic hearth of Paris thanks to its historic atmosphere, the beauty of old buildings, the chic of bars and restaurants as well as the quality of fashion and decoration stores.
The crossroads Buci-Seine is famous for its outdoor market, butchers's shop, delicatessen, fruits and vegetable, baker's and confectioner's, florists...etc. With a lot of bars and small « bistrots », this typical atmosphere of St Germain des Près, this is the perfect place of your summer evenings and week-ends (3 mintutes walking).
The St Germain market (5 min walking), located on the other side of the St Germain boulevard, by taking the Lobineau street on the right after the La Seine street, the St Germain market is half a commercial galery wih fashion stores and half a inddor food market. There is a lot of variety of fresh food stands (butcher's store, delicatessen, fruits and vegetables...) .
The café-restaurants like Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots have made the reputation of the « Rive Gauche » and are still making the tradition (10 min walking). There are also a lot of smll restaurants in the neighbourhood (Nesle street, Buci street, St André des Arts, Grégoire de Tour, Mazarine, St Germain Bd, etc).
SIGHTS to 5-10 min walking :
Luxembourg gardens : Wonderful public gardin going up the La Seine street then the Tournon street, righ away until the gardens. Walking down the St Germain Bd to the Seine, you cross the St Michel bridge until Notre-Dame church.
Notre-Dame cathedral : Located on St Louis island, at 10 min walking only by the banks of the Seine, on the right end of the Dauphine street. Go across the Seine by St Michel bridge. St michel place.
Panthéon place : To go up the Dauphine street and street of the «Ancienne comédie » until the St Germain bd and carry on the street until the Panthéon.

The Seine river and its garden under the Pont neuf, le oldest bridge of Paris with Henri IV statue, at the end of Dauphine street. In the middle of the bridge, take the stairs on the left to the small garden located under the bridge. Very nice mood for painters.
By crossing the bridge and going straight away after the Rivoli street, you find The Halles and the Beaubourg museum on the right (15/20 min walking).
Louvre Museum : The biggest and the most impressive parisian museum. The inside is gigantic and has about a hundred of rooms. An outdoor visite is a very pleasant walk that can be continued by the Tuileries garden, along the Rivoli street.
