Not far from the place des Vosges and the Marais, this lovely 65m² apartment extends over two levels. Situated on the lively place de la Bastille, this comfortable pied-à-terre is very calm thanks to its location on a small courtyard that is typical of this area of Paris.
The building entrance (with security code and intercom) and the stairway leading from the courtyard to the entrance of the apartment on the 2nd floor have been completely renovated. A private stairway leads to the apartment itself which is located on the 3rd and 4th (top) floors of the late eighteeenth-century building.
The apartment is flooded with light from the skylights in the high ceiling and has a pleasant comfortable atmosphere thanks to the fireplace ancient oak wall beams.
On the bottom level there is a lounge room, kitchen/dining room and toilet.
The lounge room has a convertible setteesuitable for a couple (140 x 190 cm), two armchairs, a coffee table, chimney, library, television and a DVD player, telephone with free access excepted mobile phone, hi-fi and a high speed internet connection with WIFI.
The kitchen has a bar that separates it from the dining room which has a table and 4 chairs. The equipment includes: vitro-ceramic hotplates, microwave oven, refrigerator, toaster, tea and coffee pots and plenty of cupboards.
On the top level there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The first consists of a mezzanine above the lounge room with a single bed (90 x 190 cm), a desk and chair and a small cupboard with a table lamp.
The second bedroom is separate and has a double bed (140 x 190 cm), two bedside tables with lamps and storage space. The marble bathroom is located on this level has a bath, a washbasin and a washing machine.
There are fans for the bedrooms and sheets and towels are supplied.

The apartment is situated in the Bastille, a quarter full of contrasts ranging from artistic activities to nightlife to quiet promenades by the water.
The building itself is situated on the place de la Bastille with its magnificent column, on the corner of rue de la Roquette where there are numerous cafés, restaurants and tapas bars open late at night.
Two minutes away is the Opéra Bastille, behind which runs the Viaduc des Arts with its numerous arts, crafts and design boutiques. Enjoy a peaceful walk along the Port de l’Arsenal with its numerous pleasure boats or on the other side of the place de la Bastille visit the beautiful place de Vosges and the historical Marais with its many museums and city mansions.
Lastly, on the other side of the Seine are l’Île Saint-Louis, the Natural History Museum or the Institute du Monde Arabe, where exhibitions on Islamic culture held.
