| This apartment is a great and homey one bedroom (40 sq.m/430 sq. feet) on the 3rd floor of a historical building. Since all the windows overlook a courtyard, it is a very quiet and bright apartment in a very busy and exciting part of the Marais. The access to the courtyard is secured by a digital access system, and the apartment has a security door. The apartment has just been fully renovated by an architect, and has been tastefully decorated, and conveniently equipped (all the furniture and equipment are new). The apartment has authentic and original wooden floors and apparent beams. It is perfect for a couple, but it has an additional convertible sofa-bed in the living-room for one or two guests. However, there is no closing door for the bedroom (which is actually very nice artistic choice by the architect !). When you enter the apartment, you will have a great view from the entrance area to the main room. The dining section has been designed to comfortably host 4 people. It does also include the stereo sound system, the phone/answering/fax machine, and the TV. There is plenty of closet space in the dining section. The living-room area includes the convertible sofa-bed and has a nice warm touch with authentic wooden and leather furniture. The kitchen is next to the dining area, in a separate section. It has all the amenities of a modern and convenient home: dishwasher, electric oven with four induction plates (vitro-ceramic), washer-dryer, 2-door refrigerator with freezer, and plenty of cupboard space. The kitchen also has all the dishes and usual small appliances: coffee-maker, toaster, electric water boiler, etc. The bathroom is modern and tiled, with a bathtub and power shower. It has its own water boiler, and also includes a very convenient electric towel-heater. The bedroom is at the opposite end of the apartment. It features a queen-sized bed, and has ample closet room. The apartment has individual electric heating. Linen and towels are supplied. |

| The apartment is located at the intersection of the rue des Gravilliers and the rue du Temple, in the heart of the Marais area, very near to the busy and exciting shopping and entertainment areas of the center of Paris: Beaubourg-Centre Pompidou, Les Halles, rue des Archives, rue de Bretagne, Hotel-de-Ville, etc. It is also a short and easy walk to the Seine River, the Ile-de-la-Cite with the Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Ile-Saint-Louis with its typical streets, boutiques and restaurants. The apartment is also very close to the major cultural and touristic points of interests such as the Louvres Museum, the Picasso Museum, the Latin Quarter, etc. It is ideally located for a quick and efficient access to public transportation. The nearest metro station is Arts et Metiers (lines 3 and 11), but various lines are very close by, including the major transportation hub of Chatelet-Les Halles (including the regional trains RER A and RER B to Orly and Charles-de-Gaulle airports). There is also a public parking next to the apartment, a post office, and numerous stores, boutiques, restaurants, and cafes in the adjacent streets. |
