Once upon a time the author of the Petit Prince (The Little Prince) wrote: it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, but I am certain I saw my father today arrive home with a plane in his truck. He came from a meeting in Niort. So, I decided to think about Saint Exupéry and above all, the copy of the Little Prince I had bought in Brazil and offered to a boy. Pedro was his name, like me. His mother was very beautiful, she had a map of wine color on the face and dreamed to fly to France, Paris. At the age of 14, Antoine de Saint Exupéry obtains the price of drafting for its first literary test entitled "Odyssee of a top hat". The little Prince has the idea of his first drawing seeing the picture of boa constrictor in the act of swallowing an elephant. A hat is really important to keep a head full of idea.



A clown waiting for Godot will tell you that. The aviator whose plane is out of order in the desert won't think that the boy's drawing is a hat, thought he is grown up. He is not waiting for Godot but trying to fix his plane to save himself. And that's how he'll come across the boy and learn to see with his heart. At the age of 17, Antoine the future pilot is registered at the the Naval School of the Lycée Saint Louis, in Paris. The boy is going to forget his drawings. He's not only going to have many encounters with a great many people who have been concerned with matters of consequence, and live a great deal among grown-ups. He is going to devote himself to geography, history, arithmetic and grammar and lay aside drawings of boa constrictors.
