Apartments Barcelona Passeig de Gracia:
Passeig Gracia is avenue in Barcelona's Eixample district, running from plaça de Catalunya (Ramblas apartments) to Avinguda Diagonal. This is one of two major avenue of Barcelona, one of the most touristic attractions of Barcelona also, and the preferred walking way of capitalists at the beginning of 20th century. It was designed in 1906 by the architect Pere Falqués i Urpí and after finished it has become the most fashionable avenue of Barcelona.
Passing down the streets, the tourists have to stop in front of beautiful buildings of legend – these are the works of the architect Antoni Gaudi with the Catalan innovative style.
The avenue prides of over 150 protected buildings, including some of the city's greatest modernist architecture. At the corner of Passeig de Gracia and Provencia, the tourist will be flabbergasted by La Pedrera building, an architecture community with sophisticated metal designs. Along the street are full of wealthy building, banks, consulates and modernized palaces.
Paseo de Gracia is also one of the major streets for shopping in Barcelona. All national and international fashion brand are here as Zara, Loewe, Chanel, Adolfo Dominguez, Yves Saint Laurent, Escada and Hermès.
