Description :
One of our more reliable Paris apartments. This Paris short term apartment is located on 4th floors without lift in an early seventeenth-century building with a view of the Pantheon. The rue Mouffetard is a pedestrian street in the old town (village) of Paris. This accommodation in Paris is located 50 meters from the Pantheon and the place of Contrescape. The apartment faces the street, and benefits from double glazing insulation effectively. This beautifully furnished apartment has oak beams, a stone wall, wooden floors and a spiral staircase leading to a large bedroom with an adjacent bathroom. The windows are double glazed to insulate against noise and temperature and there is good heating for winter as well as air-conditioning in the bedroom for summer. A nice Mouffetard apartment indeed! The decoration is a tasteful mixture of modern furniture, oriental antiques and contemporary art. In the lounge room a leather settee converts into a double bed (W140 cm), so the apartment can sleep four people. There are also two leather armchairs, a coffee table, a bookshelf and an antique Chinese cupboard, as well as a round glass topped table that seats four people. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven/microwave, two induction hotplates, a stainless steel dishwasher and a refrigerator with an integrated freezer. If you enjoy cooking, you ll find all the fresh produce you need at the nearby market at the bottom of rue Mouffetard. The sunny upstairs bedroom has a large skylight looking over the rooftops of Paris and a small window with a view of the Eiffel tower. The furnishings consist of a queen size bed (W160 cm), an antique Chinese desk, an armchair and a cable TV with DVD player. There is also a telephone/fax and high speed Internet access. Numerous wardrobes are available for storing clothes and luggage during your stay. The modern bathroom is lit by a skylight and has a bath with shower, a large washbasin and mirror, a toilet, cupboards and a hairdryer. There is a separate laundry/storage room on the landing with a washing/drying machine and an iron and ironing board. You can store your empty suitcases there during your stay. All linen and towels are provided. A worthy rental in Paris.

The Neighborhood :
This apartment for rent in Paris is located in the very heart of the Latin Quarter, close to the Sorbonne University, rue Mouffetard is a medieval street famous for its market, cafés and restaurants. Today the student area of Paris, it was frequented in the past by philosophers (Descartes and Diderot) and writers (Hemingway) who lived in the area. Around this Paris flat, nearby tourist attractions include the Pantheon (where Victor Hugo, Zola and Jaurès are buried), the Arènes de Lutèce (the site of the antique Roman arena), the Cluny museum (Roman baths and medieval history) and the Natural History Museum. The Seine and Notre Dame are just ten minutes walk away, as are the Luxembourg gardens. There is a direct train line to Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports from Luxembourg station (10 minutes walk) and there are several metro stations nearby.

The payment of the balance and the security deposit will have to be made one month before your arrival by credit card in euros on our protected site. The payment of the security deposit will have to be made separately. For all arrivals/departures after 8 p.m. and before 8 a.m. or on Sunday and Public Holidays, there is a 50 euros extra fee to pay to the person who welcomes you. Check-in from 3pm, unless otherwise agreed.
