| Description : | |
| Paris flats for rent: this calm and light in the heart of Paris! This could be the slogan for the presentation of this apartment. Sunny in fine weather and away from the noise of the city, this charming apartment of 40 m2 is on the 3rd floor of a 17th century building with strong safety features: an entrance door code followed by a wrought iron gate with an intercom. Once past the gate, you enter a lovely flowered courtyard from which to discover the beautiful staircase giving access to the apartment. The Paris apartment has two rooms, and of course a kitchen and a bathroom with toilet. The large living area is divided in two: living room and dining room. The dining area communicates with the kitchen, and the living room with the bedroom and bathroom. The apartment can easily accommodate two couples or a family of five. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave oven, a four-burner range with hood, washing machines (dishes + clothes), refrigerator with freezer. Its many cupboards provide all the dishes and utensils required for your meals. The dining area includes four armchairs for dining around the handsome white wooden table. The large closet at the back of the room provides storage for clothes, a crib, a small heater, fan, iron, ironing board and drying rack. One of the sliding doors of this wardrobe sports a convenient full-length mirror. The living area has a very comfortable sofa bed which can sleep two people, and an ottoman can be converted into a bed for one person. They face the fireplace and the television screen. Next to this is a DVD player, a hi-fi system (radio and CD), and Wi-Fi equipment for your computer. The phone system enables you to make calls all over the world (or almost) for free -- to landlines, but not cell phones. The bedroom whose window overlooks the patio of the building is furnished with a double bed and an English pine dresser – coquettishly painted pink. The bathroom / toilet has an excellent shower, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror framed by two rows of lamps, a towel dryer and a storage unit with hair dryer. One for our more reliable of our apartments in Paris. Paris apartments: contact us please for more information. | |

| Paris apartments for rent: the building is located at the crossroads of two ancient Roman roads. It is here that the ancient Roman city of Lutetia sprang to life long before Paris became the capital of France. Vestiges of this ancient city can still be admired only a hundred metres away in the remains of the Baths of Cluny. This district would take the name of Latin Quarter because of the studies, in Latin of course, that were undertaken there as from the Middle Ages and even before the Sorbonne was built, by generations and generations of students. A number of major historical and tourist sites of the capital are only a few minutes’ walk from the rue Galande apartment. Not even three minutes to Saint Julien le Pauvre, Notre Dame, St. Severin and the banks of the Seine! Only about five minutes to the Sorbonne, Cluny Museum and Sainte Chapelle; and about ten minutes (because you are going uphill !) to the Pantheon, the Lutetia Arena, and the Garden of Luxembourg (apartments for rent in Paris Jardins du Luxembourg). Rent apartment in Paris here, in the proximity of the Metro stations Saint Michel and Maubert Mutuality, you can be in any part of Paris in less than half an hour. And with the RER line at the Saint Michel station you can ride directly to Versailles or the main airports without having to change lines. All cuisines of the world can be enjoyed in the neighborhood, and for all budgets. Among the rue Galande restaurants, good value for money is the French restaurant Le Navigator just next door, and the Lebanese Loubnane a little further down the street. But you might also like to shop and eat at home. Nearby you will find a bakery and a wine shop worthy of praise, as well as an extraordinary cheese shop on the Place Maubert. In fact it has received the distinction of “Best Cheesemonger of France” ! Bon appétit !. In terms of the cultural life of the Latin Quarter, you of course have a plethora of choices: theatres, museums, cinemas, art galleries, libraries, lecture halls, jazz clubs and cabarets abound. In the Quartier Latin are really ideal apartments to rent Paris. | |
