| This studio apartment is located on the 4th and top floor of an historical building with a large gateway and courtyard in the heart of the Marais, between the National Archives and the Musée Carnavalet. Warmly decorated in desert tones with ancient oak beams and a wooden floor, it is a the ideal cosy retreat for a couple or single person wishing to stay in the historical centre of Paris. In the living area there is a convertible settee that sleeps two people (W140 cm) and a table with four chairs that is big enough to have guests for dinner. For entertainment and communication there is a flat screen cable TV with DVD player, Hi-fi, a high-speed Internet connection with WIFI and a telephone. The kitchenette has an oven/microwave, 2 vitro-ceramic hotplates, a fume hood, refrigerator with integrated freezer, coffee machine, electric kettle and toaster. The bathroom has a large window and a spacious shower, as well as a washbasin, mirror and hair dryer. Near the main entrance there is a separate toilet and built-in wardrobes to store clothes. All linen and towel are provided. |

| The apartment is located in the heart of the Marais, the historical centre of Paris, with its aristocratic mansions, parks, squares and numerous museums all within just a few minutes walk: Musée Picasso, Musée Cognac-Jay, Musée Carnavalet, Jewish Museum, Hotel de Sully, the Archives Nationales and the Bibliothèque Historique de Paris. Other attractions include numerous contemporary art galleries, the Pompidou Centre and the antique market in the Village Saint-Paul. The sedate Ile Saint-Louis, the colourful Jewish quarter in the rue des Rosiers, the gay quarter in the rue Sainte Croix de la Bretonnerie and the bustling night life of La Bastille are all nearby. |
