| Located on the 2nd floor of a small building on a peaceful courtyard, this studio apartment is the perfect place to relax for one or two people after visiting museums and exploring the streets of Paris. Comfort is guaranteed wit a reversible heating system that provides warm air in winter and cool air in summer. The main room has parquet floors and a large window facing the courtyard. There is a convertible settee (140 cm wide) and a spacious wardrobe with sliding glass doors. Near the window there is an armchair and desk with a flat screen cable TV with international channels. The separate kitchen is lit by a large window also facing the courtyard. There is a table with two barstools for breakfast and snacks. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator with integrated freezer, a microwave/oven, a dishwasher, 2 induction hotplates, a toaster, an electric kettle, a coffee-maker and a washing machine. Adjacent to the kitchen is the bathroom with a large shower, a washbasin and mirror, a heated towel rail, a hair dryer and toilet. There is an ironing board and iron. All sheets and towels are provided. |

| The apartment is located in the Latin Quarter, between the Arènes de Lutèce (the site of the antique Roman arena) and the Jardin des Plantes. Places to visit close by include the Museum of Natural History, the Institute du Monde Arabe (Muslim art) and the Paris Mosque. Rue Mouffetard with its famous market is only 5 minutes walk away. Close to the Sorbonne University, there are numerous cafés and restaurants. Other places of interest include the Pantheon (the mausoleum where Victor Hugo, Zola and Jaurès lie to rest) and the Cluny museum (Roman baths and medieval history). The Seine, Ile Saint-Louis and Notre Dame are within 10 minutes walk, or you can enjoy sitting on the terrace of a café on the place de la Contrescarpe where musicians play in the summer. |
