Apartment: Located in a neighborhood toasted as one of Paris' most exclusive since the days of Louis XIV, this apartment is any Parisian’s dream home. In a city where room is difficult to find and even more elusive in the downtown area, this apartment is luxuriously large and well equipped large rooms and a kitchen with all modern amenities. This apartment boasts 150 square meters of open, airy and light living space situated in a classically designed building with windows allowing light to enter in from both sides of the apartment, and with large simply designed window fixtures throughout. In addition, this apartment features shiny Hungarian point wood floors and high 3&1/2 meter high ceilings throughout. A perfect haven from the bustling streets of St Germain, this apartment is surprisingly quiet and tucked away while remaining steps from every convenience, amenity and pleasure the Left Bank has to offer. This apartment is equipped with phone, cable, TV, DVD, fire place, and wireless internet access. Building: Built in the 18th century, this classic Paris building is tucked away from the bustling crowds and people watching of St Germain, yet about 3 minutes away by foot. The security code protected building is accessed though a beautifully maintained courtyard. Upon entering the building you will find lacquered hard wood floors, marble detailing and rich red carpeting. Although classic 18th century Parisian, this apartment is equipped with an elevator and automatic timed lights. Foyer and hallway: Upon entering, a 4m2 foyer opens into several of the main rooms of the apartment. Looking straight ahead and to the left are the living room and library, the largest rooms in the house. Turning right from the foyer, we find a 4m2 washroom equipped with a large bathtub and toilet, and then just beyond this bathroom is the kitchen. Off to the left of the entrance door is a long hallway that curves and leads to the laundry room. At the beginning of this hall is the guest toilet, about 2m2. Living/dining room: Parallel to the library, the 46 square meter living/dining room is the largest room in the house. Decorated with two stunning antique fireplaces, art, and again the large bright windows, this room is grand yet functional. One of the fireplaces is in the wall, and the other a decorative antique porcelain wood burning fireplace, of Viennese 19th century make. The dining room table seats 5 a few meters from a hearth-side seating arrangement for intimate discussions, or watching the television which is hidden in a cabinet. Library: To the left of the entrance is the 15 square meter library. This elegant, and once again spacious, room connects both to the living room on the right and to the second bedroom. With two large windows facing onto an attractive and peaceful courtyard, two large, lush sofas and lined with books, this room is perfect for both entertaining guests, and curling up and reading amidst the peace, quiet and luxury this apartment provides throughout. This room opens on to the living room through elegant double doors, providing even more light, thanks to the unique feature of having windows on both sides of the apartment. This means that there is always ample light, a bright space in the center of the apartment, regardless of season or time of day. Kitchen: At 15m2, enormous by Paris standards, and fully equipped this kitchen is functional with tasteful and lively decor, overlooks the courtyard, and has an access window into the dining room for serving up dinner Paris style! This kitchen is equipped with everything needed to make your stay tasty and convenient: oven, stove, a large fridge, coffee machine, ample counter space and a microwave. Bedroom one (master bedroom): This 18m2 master bedroom offers access from both the living room and the main bathroom. Designed with rich floral motif fabrics and antiques, this bedroom is welcoming, clean and bright with two large windows facing onto a courtyard. Master bath: Connected to the master bedroom is the 9m2 master bath. Donning a newly carpeted floor and beautiful salmon-colored marble throughout, this bathroom has the luxury of featuring a huge bathtub and separate shower: everything needed to relax after a day in the city of lights. Bedroom two: This 15m2 bedroom enters just off of the library and connects to both the office and master bathroom. This room features two fold away twin beds and large windows facing onto the courtyard. Bureau: Continuing though bedroom two we find the convenient and tucked away 10m2 bureau. This small office is equipped with a beautiful Chinese antique desk, a large window and has access to another 5m2 toilet and shower room for those staying in bedroom two. Laundry Room/guest bedroom: Following the 3m2 curving right from the main entrance is the guest bedroom. This 10m2 room is equipped with everything needed for laundry and makes even a maid's quarter's look appealing and inviting: washer, dryer, iron, and a wall mounted ironing board-but also sleeps one with a an antique twin bed. This room also contains ample storage space, an additional washroom with shower and toilet, a charming antique rug that make it cozy in addition to functional.

The Neighborhood :
In the very center of Paris' chic, ultra exclusive, yet surprisingly practical St Germain des Pres neighborhood, this apartment could not be better situated. Everything from the finest and most luxurious boutiques in the world to practical things like pharmacies and supermarkets are all located minutes from your front door. Be sure to visit the famous cafes along rue St Germain des Pres-including: Les Deux Magots and Cafe Flore. A few minutes further on, you will find bustling and practical Odeon, with a cinema and several of Paris's most celebrated restaurants, suitable for all tastes and budgets. Five minutes from your door you will also find the impressive "Bon Marche" department store and the "Bon Marche" food markets-(possibly the most extensive and finest indoor food market in Paris).
