It is so central and near to so many sights, you enjoy walking a 15 minutes walk to musee du Louvre, Centre Pompidou (Beaubourg), musee Picasso, musee Carnavalet, Ile Saint-Louis. Many mode shops, design, antiquary shops, painting gallery, restaurants, cafes, clubs, supermarkets,food shops, very good wine shops, bakery, butchery, laundromat and much more are within 2 minutes walk. Just one step from the metro Bastille, buses and taxis are readily accessible. Place des Vosges is the oldest place of Paris. Think that Victor Hugo wrote Les Miserables in the number 6. You find serendipidity small lovely streets, gardens with small buildings and the oldest luxury buildings of 17 th and 18 th century. It is historical and touristy heart of Paris. |
