Some years ago, during a trip to Paris, I rediscovered the rue Mouffetard, located in the fifth arrondissement, near the Pantheon, Latin Quarter. I was charmed by this street, and apparently, the team director Jean-Pierre Jeunet also. In  Delicatessen, the film maker  immerses us in a strange and disturbing and burlesque world. The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie Poulain has Mouffetard street scene in his famous film. Moreover, it could tip the other national Amelie, Amelie Nothomb, author of Antechrita a little crispy story about convulsionaries of Saint-Medard. It is also an apartment in Rue Mouffetard in Paris that I was happy to see in another film by this director with the beautiful Audrey Tautou, A Very Long Engagement.
