Tour Saint-Jacques
This tower is the last vestige of the vanished church called Saint-Jacques de la Boucherie. Nicolas Flamel was one of its major donors. Around the street Pernelle, the name of the lady who married the famous alchemist, walking up the rue du Renard and Rue Beaubourg, you arrive at 51 rue de Montmorency, where he lived. There, he produced the philosopher stone. Take advantage for visiting the church of Saint-Merri in front of the Centre George Pompidou.
