The rue Tiquetonne is a street of the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. Close to the Forum des Halles It takes its name from a baker in Paris. Locality mentioned in the census of 1372, Roger Tiquetonne lived there in 1399. Previously rue du Petit Lion Saint-Sauveur and rue Tiquetonne. The part of the Rue du Petit Lion Saint-Sauveur located between the rue Saint-Denis and rue Dussoubs has brought street names of the de rue du Lion d'Or (1360), rue du Lion (1421), rue du Grand Lion (1474), rue Pavée Saint-Sauveur, rue du Petit Lion, rue de l'Arbalète ou rue des Arbalétriers (d'après Sauval), rue Paule (plan de Ducerceau) The part between the rue Dussoubs and the Montorgueil was called in 1313, rue du Pavée, she kept that name until it was united to the Rue du Petit Lion in 1851.
