Well situated in the Marais, only 2 minutes the Pompidou Centre, this beautiful apartment is on the 2nd floor with elevator of a typically Parisian building. Recently renovated, beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished, it looks onto a quiet courtyard. All equipment and furnishings are high quality. The entrance hall opens onto a toilet with washbasin and a bathroom with a big window. There is a bath with a shower, a double washbasin and mirror, a heated towel rail and hair dryer. A small lounge opens onto two bedrooms, the living room/kitchen and a laundry. It has a settee, an armchair and two small tables and is a pleasant place to read or have an aperitif before dinner. The first bedroom has two big windows and wooden floors. There is a double bed (160 x 200 cm) with two bedside tables and lamps. Behind the bed is a large wardrobe. There is also a desk and chair, as well as a flat screen TV with DVD player. The other bedroom has a big window, sea grass matting on the floor a second bathroom. There are two single beds (80 x 200 cm) that can be separate or pushed together to form a double bed (160 x 200 cm) with bedside lamps and a chest of draws. The bathroom has a pebble floor and white tiles, a big shower, a washbasin, a heated towel rail and a hair dryer. The main living room has a wooden floor, moulded plaster ceilings, a marble chimney and mirror and two big windows. There is a sofa that converts into a double bed (150 cm x190 cm), a commode, a flat screen TV with DVD, an MP3 player, a high-speed Internet connection and a telephone. The dining area has a table for 4 - 6 people. The kitchen is well equipped with an oven/microwave, 4 induction hotplates, a refrigerator with integrated freezer, a toaster, an electric kettle and an electric coffee machine. The area has numerous restaurants and cafes and you can walk to most places in the centre: the Louvre, Notre Dame and the numerous museums in the Marais are close (Musee Picasso, Musee Cognac-Jay, Musee Carnavalet, Jewish Museum, Hotel de Sully, National Archives, Bibliothèque Historique de Paris). The charming market in rue Montorgueil is also close with its patisseries, greengrocers, butchers and cheese shops. Crossing over the Seine you are in the Latin Quarter and Saint Germain des prés with their cinemas, bookshops, restaurants, bars and art galleries.
