This chic 100-square-meter apartment, a minute’s walk from Luxembourg gardens/palace (and even less to RER B), is also minutes from St. Michel, St. Germain and the Latin Quarter, with restaurants, cafés, shopping and historical sites at your disposition. The quarter itself enjoys a walking museum quality; a stroll reveals architecture from the Roman period to the present.
It is on a sunny 4th floor with elevator, in a building isolated from the street, protected from street noise. Inhabitants benefit from the calm of the countryside in the heart of Paris.
It is fully equipped with cable, fast internet, all necessary linen, dishes and silverware.
The tariff for this apartment is 1650€/week, digressive depending on the length of your stay. Long stays are possible. Pets are allowed.
The entrance hall is the first tasteful room to greet the visitor. Equally distributing the kitchen, dining room and living room, it is flanked by a nineteenth-century mirror and table on one side, and oak bookcases garnished with books and decorative objects to the other. Lovely glass-panelled doors with brass handles separate the entrances to the dining and living rooms from the entrance hall.
The living room/dining room area offer a wall of windows which bath the entire space in light. In the living room bow windows with built-in benches give you a place to retreat and drink tea while looking on an 18th-century church; down below lies a courtyard with a garden. The bow windows are also laced with climbing vines and plants, to provide an even more intimate atmosphere.
>The bedrooms
Each bedroom has its subdued charm, a place to relax. All are on courtyards or gardens (once again, protected from any street noise.) All three bedrooms are distributed around a single rectangular hallway, with a hall bathroom serving two of the three, and a third bedroom with a private bathroom. All three have heavy curtains to block out light when necessary.
The blue bedroom,
cosy and charming, has its own bathroom and walls lined with book cases and books. The comfortable double bed promises a good night’s sleep to anyone. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, and the whole room was recently redone.
The beige bedroom has two single beds, perfect for children, as well as a large double closet and view on a beautiful garden.
The main bedroom, with an extensive closet and large “Futon” bed with additional drawers, has a secretary/desk for work and a television for relaxing; cable and DVD complement the television. This room gives on to the courtyard and the front of the apartment, therefore it has more light.
Hall bathroom
This bathroom is equipped with bathtub and shower, the whole room having recently been redone.
The Kitchen is roomy and light, and of course fully equipped with washing machine, separate dryer and large dish washer.

| This area has the advantage of being quite residential, intellectual, central and green. Two minute's walk from the Luxembourg gardens and its several acres of french-style gardens and english style gardens, doted with statuary and trees dating back hundreds of years, it is the perfect place to let children frolic. In addition to the the gardens, the area is residential and safe, surrounded by univerisities, churches and hospitals. A ten-minute walk takes you to the hub of Paris shopping and nightlife with the St. Michel and St. Germain areas at your fingertips. Of course the area is doted with restaurants for all budgets and gourmet appetites, as well as the famous Parisian cafés, filled with chic Parisians watching chic Parisians pass. Practically all main sites are within walking distance: the Louvre, Concièrgerie, Notre Dame, Centre Georges Pompidou, the Marais and the Hotel de Ville. |
