| Overall the apartment was excellent. The location of this particular apartment is superb. The only problem that we had with the apartment was that we could not get the internet to work, and therefore could not contact the apartment rental agency about the internet not working.

Would have appreciate dinstructions in English to use the washing machine/dryer.

| Le ménage est très négligé. J`ai trouvé de la poussière et des cheveux par terre dès mon arrivée, l`intérieur des tiroirs était sales, et la cafetière n`avait pas été lavée. Les rideaux sont gris au lieu de blanc et la terrasse n`avait pas été nettoyée. C`est le seul point négatif mais il est énorme. C`est la première fois que je loue un appartement dans cet état.

The apartment was fantastic!
The location was unbelievable, only 200m from the Champs Elysee, yet a very quiet street at night.
The owner Luc was extremely helpful and he even setup a laptop computer for my boys to MSN their friends.
So, thanks again! We ll certainly recommend you to anyone going to Paris.

| Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable,BUT, if possible, some cleaning shoud be done on the "arrière-cour" : the view from the bedroom window is not so great with all the old "megots" and forgotten socks, it looks really dirty and sad, that should be improved.

* Bcp de difficulté et fatigue pour arriver de la gare du Nord en métro or il suffisait de prendre le bus 56 jusque Pigalle et là, prendre le mini bus pour Montmartre. Signaler aux futurs clients que le trajet gare du Nord en taxi jusqu`à l`appartement = seulement 9 Euros (bagages compris)!
- deux chaises pour trois personnes !??
- manque couverts en bois pour usage de la poële en téflon (dangereux pour la santé)
- manque une grande casserole (pâtes, potage...)
- manque savon à la salle de bain
- le store de la cuisine est tombé lorsque nous avons voulu le descendre
- attention : fin du savon de vaisselle et du papier de cuisine

| The oven does not work. The dish washer does not clean the dishes, they were always dirty when we took them out. The clothes washer stopped mid cycle and refused to start again. If you advertise that the apartment has these facilities, they ought to work properly. Other than that the apartment was great.

| Paris was the final leg of our two month vacation in Europe, so upon arrival in Paris, we were somewhat exhausted. Being our first trip to Paris and arriving from Amsterdam by train the apartment was easily located using the information provided to us prior to our arrival, where we were met by a very helpful, Natazya. We had a wonderful time in our Paris apartment, ideally located in the Latin Quarter, where all the major tourist attractions were accessible on foot. With an underground train stop wihtin 100 metres of the apartment and a tourist bus stop directly across the road to access all other attractions, we were ab le to discover all of the treasures Paris had to offer in our week long stay. The apartment was extremely well equiped with books, movies, laptop with internet accress and a phone to call home on for free! | The apartment was very clean and in a perfect location very close to Notre Dame Cathedral. Even so, it was a peaceful little haven to return to at the end of a busy day. We look forward to staying there again on our next trip and catching up with Yves (the owner) who was extremely friendly and welcoming.

| The apartment is in a very noisy location - a hint to bring ear plugs would be of great benefit to any newcomers. However, it is in a great location and I would definitely stay here again should the opportunity arise!

| We were disappointed that we couldn't get any television channels in English and the television reception was generally poor.
The contact person I was given, Sylvaine, did not respond to my communications so there was some anxiety about time of arrival. Xavier, however, was very efficient as were the apartrental administrative team.
We enjoyed our stay.

| The towel linens need to be replaced. The bed linens were fine. The apartment is showing a little wear. The owner was fantastic, met us on arrival, gave us a review of the operation of the household equipment, was available if necessary by cell phone, and arrived promptly for our departure. He couldn`t be nicer. We would stay here again but hope for new linens and bigger bed.
The noise of Paris is unavoidable so it is impossible to be calm here. The neighbours across the courtyard (next to the bedroom) were very noisy throughout the nights and well into the mornings. We understand that is life in the big city. Thank you for your great sevice and thank you to Alexandre

| We were greeted with great friendliness by Helen , who made us feel very welcome. The apartment was comfortable spacious and very central to shops, the metro, markets and restaurants.
The only thing that didn't work was the plug socket for the bedside light on the side near the window. Sorry but we each thought the other had left you a note. We would come back. Thank you. Nina Poulos

It is however large and roomy allowing for individual privacy and the kitchen is fairly well furnished.

| Our stay was wonderful. Our arrival was very confusing, however. According to our contract, we were to be met within a certain time period following the arrival of our flight. Prior to our stay, however, the owner e-mailed us and told us to purchase a phone card (which we did not need otherwise) when we arrived at the airport and to call the person who was to let us in to the apartment. We did this upon our arrival at Charles de Gaulle, and our contact seemed slightly surprised to hear from us and informed us it would be a few hours before he could arrive at the apartment. We went on to the apartment and sat outside for about 30 minutes, before realizing that someone was inside the apartment and still cleaning it. She let us in and we waited while she cleaned. She then left, and we waited again until the contact let us in (one hour and a half in total waiting time). This started our stay off with an awkward opinion of the apartment and ApartRental. We were very happy with the whole process of booking, arrival, welcome and our stay. The welcome drink, cheese, bread and flowers were a lovely touch and much appreciated. We would recommend the apartment to our friends.
We have made our comments on the questionnaire but would personally like to thank Helene for meeting us at the apartment and assisting us to settle in to the apartment. We had a wonderful week at No. 54 Place Dauphine Apartment and would recommend your service to our friends who often visit Paris.
I did not mention in the questionnaire that it may be handy for people to know where the Champion Supermarket is. It is very close by and easy to access. We enjoyed having our meals in the apartment with such a good choice of food close by.

| Knowing Paris, we had high expectations of the apartment in Place Dauphine and it didn`t diappoint, in a perfect location to reach so many favoured areas of Paris: a 5 minute walk to Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter, 5 mins to Musee D`Orsay and just over Pont Neuf directly at the end of the Place to reach the action of Les Halles or the Louvre, just to name a few. Yet it is tucked away from the heaviest tourist bustle. An enthusiastic welcome by Xavier, a little French package of wine, cheese and baquette, well equipped apartment and the bonus of a free laptop and internet started a great week.

| The apartment was exactly what we were looking for. The location was perfect and it had lots of character. It was quiet and restful and we enjoyed staying there very much. We did have a little trouble with the lock on the front door, however that is a minor fault. Perhaps the coutyard outside the apartments could be improved as it was a little dark at night.

1. The apartment itself was quiet, but there was construction outside our window which created some noise problems in the morning.
2.We did like that there was a single set of charges for the apartment with no hidden costs.
3. We appreciated having a French dictionary and Paris guides in the apartment.
4. The kitchen utensils and glassware were not the best. We had to buy a spatula, for example.

| Very good apartment for short stay .Good location in the heart of Paris. There are some shops and restaurants near by. There are some disadvantages as no view from the window, no dishwasher and TV, but you are not going to sit in the room all the day. On the other hand it should be a bit cheaper

| In a fantastic location next to lots of bars and restaurants. The apartment was a good sized clean apartment with a little kitchen to prepare food and a very comfy bed. The bathroom was clean and had a mini sized bath that I loved, no fan in the bathroom gets a bit steamy and smelly at times with out one. Overall we had an amazing time in Paris and the apartment.

| This is an excellent property in a very well maintained house. Apart from some difficulties with the hotplates of the stove (not all were operational), our only negative experience was with the generally high level of noise entering the apartment, associated with the renovation of two neighbouring buildings (during working hours). That is presumably a temporary matter, and not the fault of the ownder. We would thank the owner for making her property available for lovers of Paris.

Lots of space in the apt, clean and suitable for a vacation. I highly recommend booking through apartrental..easy and safe to do over the internet. | Fantastic apartment! Stephane was a wonderful host. He made us feel very welcome, explained everything about the apartment, and provided plenty of neighborhood information. The apartment is in an ideal location, as it is so close to the metro and RER station for the train to CDG, and there are plenty of restaurants, shops, etc. nearby. The photos on line are a good representation of the space. It`s a very tranquil apartment and is romantic accommodation for a couple. As it`s on the fifth floor, the elevator is a bonus! The people at Apartrental were very responsive and helpful. Thank you!

| This is a really nice apartment. It was perfect for the 5 days I was between places. The price is quite reasonable for the size, it was actually bigger than I had anticipated, and comfortably appointed. Excellent bathtub. A much better deal than a similarly priced hotel. Rue Mouffetard is a bit of a party street so there is some noise outside but it isn`t a problem if the window is closed. Very nice welcome from the owner who had bought croissants for me and put some orange juice and other essentials in the fridge. Very kind touch for a jet lagged traveller.

| In february we spend one whole sunday searching for an apartment. We were happy to find one near the Louvre with many items we wanted to visit within close range. We arrived at the apartment at moment we had agreed in advance. There was nobody to hand over the key and when a person called Vincent arrived one hour later, after we had made a phone call, it turned out that we could not go into the apartment because of construction work in the building. We then were driven to an alternative flat at the very edge of the center of Paris, wich appeared to be rather SMELLY. To get to the spot we had booked for it took about 20 minutes by RER and half an hour by metro. We were offered a 150 euro discount, but after all this could not whipe away the disappointment. We also spent more time and money on travelling to get to items we had planned to visit. The work on the appartment building was already going on for some time and the trouble could have been foreseen by the renter. We should have been contacted about this in advance. It is regrettable to experience that our careful planning did not turn out as we expected.

| Great location!! Restaurants are every where, including literally directly undernath the apartment. A five minute ( at most) walk to Notre Dame. Food shops are a 2 minute .walk. A boluangerie is right across the street and an even better one (called the best in Paris) is a ifve minute walk. The metro stop Mubert Mutualite is close so all of Paris is within easy reach Great apartment. Pure pleasure to sit in front of the wonderful windows and peole watch with spire of Notre Dame visible in the background. Great owner/host. He did a great job iwelcoming us and introducing us to the apartment. He was available to help answer any questions and give help as needed. Only one warning- if you havve problems with mobility this aprtment would not work out well - it is on the third floor and there is no elevator and the bath/shower arrangement is not the best. If mobility is not an issue than this apartment is perfect.

| All pre-arrangements went very smoothly and the people who met me on arrival and on departure were extremely friendly and helpful. A nice touch was a bottle of wine and some bread to welcome you. The flat is very central - literally about 5-10 mins walk to Notre Dame and about 20 mins to the Louvre. The communal entrance and stair don`t make a good first impression (very scruffy) but clean enough). Having said that, the flat itself is very clean and well-equipped. The decor and furniture are rather old-fashioned - but I liked that as it felt more authenic and less like just a clinical holiday flat. However a little de-cluttering of rugs and mats might be a good idea! Overall, the flat was an excellent base - very central location, good food shopping in the immediate area, a metro station just a few steps away and it felt safe and secure because of the entrance system.

| Lovely little flat in a great position. We had a great time. But: the information about the flat says there is a washing machine/dryer in the bathroom - there wasn`t. It didn`t bother us but the information should at least be updated.

| I shall be suggesting to friends and family to book through Apartrental should they be going to Paris or elsewhere in France on holiday. The Villa Guizot in particular is an excellent apartment close to the heart of the city.

| We have throroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming, elegant and very comfortable apartment and only wish we could stay forever looking out of the beautiful large South facing windows.
Helene was extremely helpful in introducing us to the apartment and it was a nice touch to be given flowers, wine, bread and camembert on our arrival.
Please don`t be put off by the previous review about insects and poor paintwork - we saw no insects and it is clear that there has been some recent painting done.
A truly wonderful location within walking distance of so many great sites and parts of Paris. We spent most of our time walking in different directions from the apartment just exploring.

| There was no plug in the kitchen and the shower head over the bath was broken and fixed with tape, it also fixed in place to face the wall which made it very difficult to shower. The English channels pixicalted so much you couldn`t watch them so a few DVD`s in english wouldn`t go astray.

| My friend and I were very satisfied with the studio. We want to mention however, that the locks on door and shutters need improvement. In case of accident/fire it could be dangerous not to be able to get out/in quickly. The photos of the studio in the advertisment give the impression of a slightly larger place. But we were very pleased with our stay in Paris and could envisage renting it again.

| Whilst not luxurious the apartment is comfortable and quiet. It is convenient for both buses and metro .There are good foodshops and restaurants nearby and located in an interesting area to explore .In our opinion it is ideal for anyone wishing to live as a Parisien We have made a further reservation for next month.Kind regards Robert & Pam Elsmore

| My husband, son and I spent a wonderful week in this delightful apartment. Location was perfect, close to everything; a lovely feeling of quartier which we were looking for. Thanks to David for his warm welcome. He is extremely helpful and although we did not need to contact him during the stay, we knew that we could at any time. This is very reassuring. | The apartment is in great location with easy access to metro station, many restaurants and bakeries. Decor of the apartment adds to ambience of a trip to Paris! It`s very good for 4 people!! I will locate again on my next trip.

| My husband and two young daughters stayed in your apartment for one week.It was just so beautiful and so very comfortable, It was so central to so many sights, including the grand Notre Dame and Le Louvre, the great latin quarter which was filled with fantastic restaurants, the metro, the train which took us straight to Euro Disney and La Seine on which we took a great hop on, hop off cruise which took us to all other major sights including L arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. From our huge french windows we had a view over our own private litlle park. We had full cooking facilities and access to the internet in our apartment. Thank you to Lotfi who met us at the apartment and made us feel so welcome. We were in Paris in early Jan 2008 and we had an absolutely wonderful stay. So many wonderful memories. Merci beaucoup! Would recommend your apartment to anyone. |

| The apartment is very well located in the 5eme arrondissement, close to Notre Dame de Paris, transports as well as shops and very good wine shops & restaurants including Eric Kayser bakery. The apartment can comfortably handled a family of 2 adults and 2 growing children. It is a great appartment, just watch out for the stairs though.

| Clean, comfortable, very well-equipped and charming. This apartment is perfect in every respect and the owner, David is extemely helpful and reliable. Even though there are many stairs to climb with baggage David insisted on taking them up for us.
If we were to return to Paris we would definitely stay here.

| My husbad and i stayed here for our honeymoon in September and we loved it. Everything was very central and very easy to get everywhere. We loved wondering the neighborhood. The apartment was very quiet and very clean. We really enjoyed having a nice place to relax.

Thank you for your hospitality over the last two weeks we have spent in your apartment at 32 rue du Champs de Mars. The apartment was perfect. Its position cannot be bettered with most goals within walking distance and the restaurants and shopping some of the best in Paris. It is a wonderful part of Paris too: not to busy and out of the tourist belt. The apartment is well equipped and gloriously warm and restfully quiet facing into its beautiful private garden. Buses and taxis were readily accessible and the nearest Metro two minutes walk.
