We have just returned from our 7 week France/UK holiday, some of that timebeing spent in your apartments in Paris. The holiday was great, to say theleast, new sights and smells, people to meet and different cultures toenjoy. bonjour Serge!we had a good holiday in Paris and the apartment was very well located.sorry we left in a big rush on the monday morning as there was some confusion about the taxi but we were at the bus stop in plenty of time. I think we left the apartment quite tidy.It was fine for all of us . I have only 2 comments- the toilet seat was broken and also for foreigners some specific instructions on how to get into the apartment on arrival would be quite good. We are not used to the entry system and lifts etc. Otherwise it was good and we will recommend to our friends. Merci beaucoup!!

Hello Serge,We loved our apartment No. 37, it suited my sister and me perfectly, and we enjoyed every minute in Paris too. There were only a couple of minor suggestions for improvement about which I spoke to Christine Marachel - the CD player wasn't working which was disappointing, the lighting was poor for reading at night and we needed directions in English on how to use the very smart washing machine/dryer.We spent a week in Copenhagen after Paris, then to the UK to visit a friend before coming home.I have already recommended No.37 and your web site to friends here and in the UK.

Dear Serge,Apartment in rue de l'Universite was all that was expected. Sylvaine was there to welcome us and to provide help when one of the neighbours had a repeat of what I will describe as his mental health problems but I am sure she has already explained the problem to you.The neighbour took exception to us using the dryer at 8pm in the evening. We washed in the morning but our underwear did not dry at the first attempt in the morning so we finished it off on our retun in the evening. This resulted in banging on the door to the apartment etc. The concierge came up the next morning to apologiseas this apartment owner apparently has a history of these outbursts.Would be happy to recommend your service and the apartment we stayed in to other visiters to Paris. Obviously there are people with problems all over the world and we have learned to cope. Brobably helps that we work in fields associated with mental health.

Dear Serge.We had a wonderful vacation in Paris and enjoyed our stay in the apartement.The only criticm we have is, that we find tha the kitchen ware was toolimited. As an example there was no tea bottle. The quality of pots og panswas not quite satisfactorily. We took a taxi from the airpot so we have no problems finding the apartementbut a description how to get to the apartement from the airport with metroor bus would have been fine.Bu we really enjoyed our stay.With best regards.

We thought the appartment was superb and was just what we were looking for.The only problem that we encountered was that we think we were given an incorrect telephone number for the appartment and no-one could contact us - not the end of the world though!My partner suggests that the appartment would benefit from a full lengh mirror!Great location & easy access to the airport etc.We will & have recommended it to friends.

Hi Moe & AuberiWe really enjoyed Paris and staying in your apartment - we began to feellike we actually lived there! To answer your questions:1. The apartment was very clean upon arrival and the bread/cheese/wine was anice touch. Sylvaine was welcoming and explained how to use everything and where everything was kept.2. Everything we needed and more was provided - can't think of any obvious things that weren't available!3. Other comments - the bathroom was usually damp as there was no exhaust fan - however I'm not sure if there's much that can be done due to its position in the apartment! The apartment was a great size, had all the facilities we could need, was in a great, handy location and the added extras like books etc. were a nice touch as well.Thanks again and we'll recommend the apartment to our family and friends!Kind regards,Liz and Steve (from Sydney, Australia)

Nacera, This is just a brief note to let you know how much we are enjoying the apartment. The mattress is very comfortable, the shower has lots of hot water and the whole apartment was very clean on our arrival. Thank you for the bottle of wine. The location is perfect for first time visitors to Paris. We could not be happier about choosing your apartment for our vacation in Paris. On April 27 we will leave the apartment at 6h to go to CDG for our return to the US. When do you want to come and inspect the apartment and discuss the return of our security deposit? Staying in this apartment was a wonderful experience, and we will surely try to reserve it for our next visit. It was ideally located (in our opinion) in a residential area with easy access to good food shops, restaurants, and the metro.

I emailed Rhym twice before my departure and she never responded. Then I called from France and gave her the exact time my train was arriving and when we expected to be at the apartment (where we expected someone to be waiting). We arrived with heavy bags and two hungry small kids (4 and 2) and there was noone. I tried her cell phone. No one. After several more tries I got her and she said "Oh- you said you d be there at 5:30" when I had clearly said 4. She said someone would be there in 10 to 12 minutes. 40 minutes later he showed up and said that he had waited at the apartment for two hours earlier in the day- I called him on it asking why, then, his wife thinks we are showing up at 5:30? It was all B.S. and they were totally disorganized and full or crap. Keeping travellers waiting an hour to get into their apartment is really bad service. No real apologies or anything either. The place is pretty shabby. On two separate nights at 2 AM, neighbors blasted their stereo/TV. They are so close that it s like they are in the room. Other nights were OK. Best thing is the location. Place itself is just OK, and the owners are flat-out flaky.

Its location in the quiet heart of Le Marais was perfect; exquisite shops and cafés nearby, and Metro stops for every other possible destination only a short walk away. Sophie, you`re apartment was in an outstanding condition and perfectly located near Forum des Halles. It was big enough for our family of three. Although there is one bedroom, our son (16 yrs.) slept very well on the big sleeping-couch in the livingroom. This was our first trip to Paris and the loaction could not have been better. The apartment was just perfect for the two of us , the kitchen and washing facilities great. Our contact Natasza was very lovley and helpful. The local area has everything you need shopping wise within a two minute walk. The bakery was fantastic, with croissants and filled baguettes we loved. We felt the area gave us a feeling of the true Paris the way the locals live, but within walkig distance of all the sights. We can highly recommend a stay here !!

David, soon to be "Doctor", you were a caring and helpful host to us in all ways. We enjoyed coming home to the apartment with its beautiful artwork, comfortable lounge room and bedroom, cooking in your state of the art kitchen, and enjoying the lit-up Eiffel Tower and Pantheon from our bedroom window. The markets and shops on rue Mouffetard were lively and fascinating as well. Great restaurants/great location. If you come to the American west for a vacation you will always have a place to stay here in Durango, CO

We`re almost reluctant to tell anyone else about this apartment because we don`t want it to become too popular! Place Dauphine is a little oasis in the middle of Paris that almost allows you to forget you`re in the middle of a huge city. Very quiet and safe and perfectly located. The apartment itself is clean, quiet and incredibly comfortable. If we weren`t so busy with seeing Paris it would have been very easy to pass away the afternoons sitting in the large windows and reading. Finding the place was very easy, and Helene & Sylvaine were very helpful as well. We will be back!

Absolutely fabulous location. Fabrics on the walls and windows were truly beautiful. Furniture, paintings and bathroom sink were antique and a pleasure to have the opportunity to enjoy. The beddding was clean and matched the draperies and wall coverings We were there at New Year and know what its is like to get a trip organized, our hosts George and Odette were spending the holiday with family so were not there to greet us. However the fabulous Frederic saved the day. He greeted and made arrangements for more than one group of guests during our stay. He warned us of holiday closures and gave us directions to markets and New Years celebrations and was kind enough to order early morning taxis on our departure. We would definately go again. Frederic should be rewarded!!!

This was an absolutely perfect match for me, my husband and our 3 children. The location is ideal - could walk to Louvre and Notre Dame. The apartment was charming and very comfortable. I wish there had been a clothes dryer though. Otherwise, we loved it.

We had the same experience. It took several emails and a phone call before she responded which was two days before we lefy for Paris. I specified what time we expected to be there and we waited for an hour before someone (her husband) opened the door. Obviously they had both been inside trying to clean up. There were still lots of dirty linen and around and the flat was dirty. She said she expected us later. The location is excellent but the ordeal of narrow spiral stairs with suitcases was difficult. At the end of our week stay, we left it nuch cleaner than we found it and I was considering asking for the cleaning fee back. Then the taxi they promised to call never arrived so we had to drag our bags to the main street to look for one ourselves.

We stayed here last May and had a great time. We love the Latin Quarter so that was already decided. Of course we were apprehensive about renting an apartment but once we got there we were completely at ease. Just a note - you must accept that these are not large units but it was totally acceptable, clean and felt like home. And the host gave us a "locals" tour that we used every day. We never did figure out the combo washer/dryer but what the heck. It was fun. We are looking to going back again and staying here.

We had a very pleasant stay in the appartment. The kitchen is very well equiped, the master bedroom is fine, maybe the second bedroom is a bit less. And the terrace of course is really wonderfull. The neighbourhood is nice, with lots of restaurants, traiteurs en little shops. I think we`ll come back.

This apartment was perfect for our family vacation. It was well-maintained and well-located. It was large enough for my family of six (kids ages 11, 8, 4 and 2). We feel so fortunate to have found this apartment and not have had to stay in a hotel! It is within walking distance of St. Georges and Pigalle Metro stations.

This apartment was fantastic. The lady who met us there was great. She explained everything to us in great detail. The location is perfect - not far from the Champs-Elysee. The apartment has everything you would need for a great vacation. We could have stayed forever. Paris is wonderful.

This apartment was fantastic for our family - 2 adults and 3 young children. It was quite spacious and had everything we needed. The location is fantastic. It was also a lovely touch to be greeted with flowers and some basic provisions when we arrived. I would definately use this place again.

We stayed in Sophie's apartment for six days, but we could have stayed there forever. The apartment was large, nicely laid-out and very well equipped. our host was an incredibly sweet lady named Marie Piere, who not only showed us all the amenities in the flat, but also helped me get familiar with the neighbourhood with an accompanied visit to the nearest bus stop and supermarket. I would definitely stay again and again in this nice, airy, 10th storey flat and recommend it to anyone who wants a great deal at a most convenient location.

We are just back from a wonderful holiday in Europe, and out of all the apartments we stayed in, I think we enjoyed staying in Sophie`s Apartment #169 the most. We were four of us, and we found the apartment large and spacious, nicely laid out and extremely well stocked. Besides its 10th floor location also made it quite airy. Marie Piere, the host is also an incredibly sweet lady who not only made us familiar with all the equipment, but showed us around the neigbourhood. I think it`s because of people like her and apartments like this that a holiday becomes truly memorable. We sincerely thank Marie and Sophie for helping us enjoy such a wonderful stay in this truly conveniet location in Paris.

The 32 rue du champ de mars is a comfortable, modern apartment in an ideal location in central Paris. It is a ten minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and close to many attractions. We enjoyed shopping for our wine, cheese and bread in the neigbourhood stores. The apartment was in a lovely old building and had tall framed windows and high ceilings. It made our stay in Paris one we will never forget.

Our first visit to Paris in mid-September (2007) was near perfect. Partly by our decision to stay in this nice one bedroom apartment. It was quite spacious compared to most hotel rooms and the overall cost was not much different than a hotel room. It could comfortably accommodate 4 adults by using the sleeper couch. It had pretty much everything we needed and was located on a quiet street that was a 5 minute walk from plenty of shops, markets & restaurants. Eiffel Tower was about 10 minute walk and bus stops were close by also. The final plus was that by staying in the apartment we had a better sense of living in Paris versus being a tourist. The close proximity to everything a family could possibly need was a real treat: the park Champs de Mars right across the street with everything it has got to offer to children, great local shopping streets with the best fromageries, boulangeries, chocolatiers, epiceries... and much more. From Aubin - St Barth s Stayed two weeks with my wife in September for business and leisure trip. The appartment is situated at first floor, about 650 sqf and all rooms are good size with high ceilings. Everything is in great condition, tastfully furnished with deign touch and very clean. The bedroom is real comfy, nice bathroom ( with bathtub ), large living room ( flat tv screen, high speed internet ) and fully equiped kitchen with quality appliances ( including nespresso coffe-maker ! ). Garden view from all rooms. Very quiet. The location is absolutely perfect in one of the best and chic neighborhood of Paris with convenient transportation, fine restaurants, cafes, monuments ( eiffel tower, invalides ) all around. The owner ( leaving in the building ) is charming and can be very helpful. Just ask. I would definitly recommend this appartment for a no trouble and comfortable stay in this city. Its position cannot be bettered with most goals within walking distance and the restaurants and shopping some of the best in Paris. My husband and two young daughters stayed in your apartment for one week.It was just so beautiful and so very comfortable, It was so central to so many sights, including the grand Notre Dame and Le Louvre, the great latin quarter which was filled with fantastic restaurants, the metro, the train which took us straight to Euro Disney and La Seine on which we took a great hop on, hop off cruise which took us to all other major sights including L arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. From our huge french windows we had a view over our own private litlle park. We had full cooking facilities and access to the internet in our apartment. Thank you to Lotfi who met us at the apartment and made us feel so welcome. We were in Paris in early Jan 2008 and we had an absolutely wonderful stay. So many wonderful memories. Merci beaucoup! My friend and I were very satisfied with the studio. We want to mention however, that the locks on door and shutters need improvement. In case of accident/fire it could be dangerous not to be able to get out/in quickly. The photos of the studio in the advertisment give the impression of a slightly larger place. There was no plug in the kitchen and the shower head over the bath was broken and fixed with tape, it also fixed in place to face the wall which made it very difficult to shower. The English channels pixicalted so much you couldn`t watch them so a few DVD`s in english wouldn`t go astray.

We have throroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming, elegant and very comfortable apartment and only wish we could stay forever looking out of the beautiful large South facing windows. Helene was extremely helpful in introducing us to the apartment and it was a nice touch to be given flowers, wine, bread and camembert on our arrival. Please don`t be put off by the previous review about insects and poor paintwork - we saw no insects and it is clear that there has been some recent painting done. A truly wonderful location within walking distance of so many great sites and parts of Paris. We spent most of our time walking in different directions from the apartment just exploring.

Great location!! Restaurants are every where, including literally directly undernath the apartment. A five minute ( at most) walk to Notre Dame. Food shops are a 2 minute .walk. A boluangerie is right across the street and an even better one (called the best in Paris) is a ifve minute walk. The metro stop Mubert Mutualite is close so all of Paris is within easy reach Great apartment. Pure pleasure to sit in front of the wonderful windows and peole watch with spire of Notre Dame visible in the background. Great owner/host. He did a great job iwelcoming us and introducing us to the apartment. He was available to help answer any questions and give help as needed. Only one warning- if you havve problems with mobility this aprtment would not work out well - it is on the third floor and there is no elevator and the bath/shower arrangement is not the best. If mobility is not an issue than this apartment is perfect.

The shower door is not sealed properly and alot of water leeks onto the floor when the shower is used. The main leakages occurs where the door meets the wall. Other than that i found the apartment very nice and perfectly located. The add on the website does not say that there is a DVD player. In february we spend one whole sunday searching for an apartment. We were happy to find one near the Louvre with many items we wanted to visit within close range. We arrived at the apartment at moment we had agreed in advance. There was nobody to hand over the key and when a person called Vincent arrived one hour later, after we had made a phone call, it turned out that we could not go into the apartment because of construction work in the building. We then were driven to an alternative flat at the very edge of the center of Paris, wich appeared to be rather SMELLY. To get to the spot we had booked for it took about 20 minutes by RER and half an hour by metro. We were offered a 150 euro discount, but after all this could not whipe away the disappointment. We also spent more time and money on travelling to get to items we had planned to visit. The work on the appartment building was already going on for some time and the trouble could have been foreseen by the renter. We should have been contacted about this in advance. It is regrettable to experience that our careful planning did not turn out as we expected.

This is a really nice apartment. It was perfect for the 5 days I was between places. The price is quite reasonable for the size, it was actually bigger than I had anticipated, and comfortably appointed. Excellent bathtub. A much better deal than a similarly priced hotel. Rue Mouffetard is a bit of a party street so there is some noise outside but it isn`t a problem if the window is closed. Very nice welcome from the owner who had bought croissants for me and put some orange juice and other essentials in the fridge. Very kind touch for a jet lagged traveller.

Fantastic apartment! Stephane was a wonderful host. He made us feel very welcome, explained everything about the apartment, and provided plenty of neighborhood information. The apartment is in an ideal location, as it is so close to the metro and RER station for the train to CDG, and there are plenty of restaurants, shops, etc. nearby. The photos on line are a good representation of the space. It`s a very tranquil apartment and is romantic accommodation for a couple. As it`s on the fifth floor, the elevator is a bonus! The apartment itself was quiet, but there was construction outside our window which created some noise problems in the morning. 2.We did like that there was a single set of charges for the apartment with no hidden costs. 3. Knowing Paris, we had high expectations of the apartment in Place Dauphine and it didn`t diappoint, in a perfect location to reach so many favoured areas of Paris: a 5 minute walk to Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter, 5 mins to Musee D`Orsay and just over Pont Neuf directly at the end of the Place to reach the action of Les Halles or the Louvre, just to name a few. Yet it is tucked away from the heaviest tourist bustle. An enthusiastic welcome by Xavier, a little French package of wine, cheese and baquette, well equipped apartment and the bonus of a free laptop and internet started a great week.

We were very happy with the whole process of booking, arrival, welcome and our stay. The welcome drink, cheese, bread and flowers were a lovely touch and much appreciated. We would recommend the apartment to our friends. We have made our comments on the questionnaire but would personally like to thank Helene for meeting us at the apartment and assisting us to settle in to the apartment. We had a wonderful week at No. 54 Place Dauphine Apartment and would recommend your service to our friends who often visit Paris. I did not mention in the questionnaire that it may be handy for people to know where the Champion Supermarket is. It is very close by and easy to access. We enjoyed having our meals in the apartment with such a good choice of food close by.

Our stay was wonderful. Our arrival was very confusing, however. According to our contract, we were to be met within a certain time period following the arrival of our flight. Prior to our stay, however, the owner e-mailed us and told us to purchase a phone card (which we did not need otherwise) when we arrived at the airport and to call the person who was to let us in to the apartment. We did this upon our arrival at Charles de Gaulle, and our contact seemed slightly surprised to hear from us and informed us it would be a few hours before he could arrive at the apartment. We went on to the apartment and sat outside for about 30 minutes, before realizing that someone was inside the apartment and still cleaning it. She let us in and we waited while she cleaned. She then left, and we waited again until the contact let us in (one hour and a half in total waiting time). This started our stay off with an awkward opinion of the apartment and ApartRental. this apart is very well situated, but very noisy (from the exterior) and needs substantial renovation. It is however large and roomy allowing for individual privacy and the kitchen is fairly well furnished. The service of Apartrental was very good.

The apartment was very clean and in a perfect location very close to Notre Dame Cathedral. Even so, it was a peaceful little haven to return to at the end of a busy day. Paris was the final leg of our two month vacation in Europe, so upon arrival in Paris, we were somewhat exhausted. Being our first trip to Paris and arriving from Amsterdam by train the apartment was easily located using the information provided to us prior to our arrival, where we were met by a very helpful, Natazya. We had a wonderful time in our Paris apartment, ideally located in the Latin Quarter, where all the major tourist attractions were accessible on foot. With an underground train stop wihtin 100 metres of the apartment and a tourist bus stop directly across the road to access all other attractions, we were ab le to discover all of the treasures Paris had to offer in our week long stay. The apartment was extremely well equiped with books, movies, laptop with internet accress and a phone to call home on for free! Wonderfully positioned among fabulous restaurants and an excellent shopping area, we never wanted to leave. I would definately holiday a

The oven does not work. The dish washer does not clean the dishes, they were always dirty when we took them out. The clothes washer stopped mid cycle and refused to start again. If you advertise that the apartment has these facilities, they ought to work properly. Other than that the apartment was great.

Le ménage est très négligé. J`ai trouvé de la poussière et des cheveux par terre dès mon arrivée, l`intérieur des tiroirs était sales, et la cafetière n`avait pas été lavée. Les rideaux sont gris au lieu de blanc et la terrasse n`avait pas été nettoyée. C`est le seul point négatif mais il est énorme. C`est la première fois que je loue un appartement dans cet état.

Overall the apartment was excellent. The location of this particular apartment is superb. The only problem that we had with the apartment was that we could not get the internet to work, and therefore could not contact the apartment rental agency about the internet not working.

Nous avons apprécié l`appartement en général (espace, luminosité, localisation) mais nous déplorons plusieurs défaillances, nous vous les signalons et croyons même que ces défaillances mériteraient un dédommagement financier. Voici les principaux problèmes : le téléphone ne nous permettait pas de téléphoner à l`extérieur, le lave-linge ne fonctionnait pas, le support de la pomme de douche était brisé et les ustensiles de cuisine n`étaient pas tous en bon état. Nous avons demandé de l`aide et un employé est venu. Il a été très diligent et a reconnu que l`appartement n`était pas en très bon état. Il a changé notre téléphone, installé un nouveau support de pomme de douche et nous a fourni de nouveaux ustensiles. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié son professionnalisme mais nous étions déjà à la moitié de notre séjour et notre lave-linge ne fonctionnait toujours pas. C`est pourquoi nous estimons avoir payé trop cher pour cette location de 7 jours où plusieurs services n`ont pas été disponibles durant tout le séjour.

The apartment is in a fantastic location, is well fitted out, and the internet and free calls to Australia are a significant bonus. Things are, however, starting to look a little worn around the edges and the bathroom was some way off clean when we arrived. Regardless it was still a great place to stay and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

think th ecleaning lady should go she had not completed the clean prior and the welcoming lass had to do it , vacume, make bed do bathroom etc. also Tony might look at replacing the mattress it has a dividing hump down the middle. otherwise it a super flat in a fantastic location and the addition of the lap top and free phone is a triple bonus a great place to stay. cheryl c.

The apartment was in a very good location for touring in Paris -- many sites in walking distance and very near RER and metro stop. Although in the very busy Latin Quarter, the apartment was quiet and it was fun to be able to step out into the bustle of the Latin Quarter in the evening after resting a bit from the day's travels

We loved the apartment and the locality. However we would suggest that apartment owners locate and leave the phone number of a Taxi company who will answer calls from English speaking visitors. We spent so much valuable time trying to get through to Taxi companies. In the end, we wnet down to the Hotel down the street and the girls there, very kindly, ordered us taxis when we needed them. I enjoyed the apartment - thank you but as an owner you may wish to ensure that the light fittings are repaired/functional (especially above the stove). The lack of instructions for TV etc was a difficulty (and the restriction to only one English channnel) and I was not happy that the cleaner did not finish until 5.00pm, as it wasted my first afternoon in paris.

The appartment is really excellent, very new, clean and sunny. Very recomendable. Location is close to many things, although neighbourhood not much familiar. Nignts can get noisy. For summer days, the apartment deserves an AC. All in all, an excellent option to fully seize Paris.

This location is excellent, being so close to Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter, but still quiet. Located close to grocery shoping and included good size refrigerator. Ideal for two to three people. Yves was waiting for us on our arrival and I was able to communicate with him by cell phone. He also helped me pick-up my rental car just prior to departing Paris.

there was some lack of basic products like salt. About the linens, was OK except one cloth which had been put away wet and therefore had a terrible rotten smell, so we had to throw that away. For the rest it was a perfect stay and I will certainly recommend it to friends

The shower enclosure needed thorough cleaning.There were small flies in the the shower room which I believe were breeding in the space below the shower floor. Some towels were stained by previous tenant s cosmetics ,although clean these need to be disposed of if the stains cannot be removed. The lid of the filter coffee jug was missing which prevents the release valve on the coffee filter functioning. There were stains on the upholstery . Overall the standard of the appartment was well below that of the previous occaisions .

We found the apt. to be perfect,good location etc.We flew in from Australia and had to wait from 8a.m. until 2 p.m. to get in to the apt.As we had 4 children,this was very difficult as we weren t allowed to leave our luggage at the apt.either.Tomy was excellent in replying to our emails but the gentleman in Paris was not good at answering emails and we had to keep getting Tony to help us.

Apartment was great - the only thing that let it down was the quality of the linen. it is in bad need of updating. It was clean but it is so old, particularly the towels. It does not give a good first impression. Sheets and doonas were the same.

e really enyoyed this really pleasant apartment with a reasonable price. The only problem we found was that the shower room sometimes smelled a little bad when the window is closed several hours. We had to leave it open day and night. It would be a problem in the winter time. Anyway, we will surely return to this apartment if we have another chance to visit Paris! it was a nice stay and an excellent location.. but the apartment need to be more clean specially the dust.. we didn`t like that we had to pay an extra 40€ because we arrived on Sunday, the security deposit was too much 800€ .. the apartment should have more lights, it was litlle bit dark in the evening. the TV is very small. any other things was fine in our opinion

We really enjoyed our stay. It was great location! We were travelling with our two young daughters, so it was very nice to have kitchen and laundry facilities and the added space. The fellow who met us at the apartment (Yves) was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend ApartRental for anyone staying in Paris for a few days and would use it again ourselves.

We loved staying in the apartment, plenty of room, great cupboard space. Only suggestion I would make would be to defrost the fridge and dispose of old food on a regular basis. Also some instructions on how to use the washing machine would be helpful, but we figured it out. The location was magic, 10 minutes away from Champs Elysees and 2 metro stations, and in our street there was a wonderful array of market stalls selling all types of fruits and vegs, seafood, chicken, a wonderful cheese shop, coffee bean shop, 2 pattisseries and a supermarket, just outside our front door. We really enjoyed our holiday in Paris, its the 3rd time I have visited and I am looking forward to the 4th.

We had to wait a very long time before we were allowed to enter the apartment despite making the arrangements ahead of time. The telephone number we were provided with to contact the owner was incorrect and we had to rely on the waitress at the restaurant across the street to get in touch with him. There was NO air-conditioning in the apartment even though we had asked specifically about it. The shower-head was broken. There was insufficient sheets and blankets for all the beds and when we complained we were provided with other pieces of linen that didn't fit the beds either. We had to wait a full month before our Security Deposit was returned via PayPal when the original contract mentioned that repayment was within ten days. Since we had already returned to the United States this was most disconcerting, and it took numerous unanswered email messages before anything was done. Otherwise, I must admit we were very comfortable and the location could not have been more convenient. I strongly advise anyone reading this to get the contact telephone number of the young lady who eventually showed us to the apartment and who left the additional linen in the apartment after our initial complaint. We were lucky she had to return to sign the contract otherwise we would never have seen her again and we would have had no one to complain to.

Fabulous apartment. Looked just like the pictures, beautifully decorated, very well equipped and spacious as long as you don`t plan to cook. The agent was very friendly and helpful and thorough in his introduction to the apartment. Unfortunately the internet and television weren`t working for the first five days. Complimentary wine, cheese and bread were a lovely touch, even though the bread was out of date and mouldy. Great location, except no grocery shops within several blocks. Would highly recommend this apartment.

Natasza was an excellent welcome and extremely helpful. The apartment at rue Quincampoix needs some maintenance and a good spring clean. Freezer door broken off, needs bathroom fan, exterior of windows need cleaning particularly side window with big bird poo build up so not able to leave window open. Disappointing to have a huge bath you cannot use due to small hot water service, sign on wall. Very loud street at night. Great location other than that. Needs lace curtains to be able to leave windows open without neighbours staring in at you when you are sleeping. LOVED the apartments and Paris. THANK YOU

We arrived 1h 30 min later at the apartment and the owner were gone. I called him and he answered that tomorrow mornig was going to give me the key. Only after I told him we needed the key right now he acepted come back to the apartment. The check out day, I commeted see the owner at at the apartment at 10.00 Am to pay me back the deposit. At 10.20 called him because nobothy came and he answered tha I had to go to a cafe in front of the building a the barman'd pay me back.

Apartment needs cleaning (not tidying) as we had to clean the bath and kitchen on arrival. Some maintenance is required as many light fittings didn't work, wifi internet not available and other fixtures not working correctly. We overcame the problems encountered but feel we shouldn't have had to. For example, we had to wash the bedding and towels on arrival before being able to make our bed as the owner was on a bike and couldn't take them home to wash, which is just as well as we wouldn't have had enough towels, etc. The owner was not very helpful. For example, she was not able to instruct us on how to use the washing machine (she didn't know how to use it) and we had to download a manual from the internet to wash the bedding, etc. before use.

As we had heard already the apartment has squeaky floors, due to age but it is delightful and amazingly spacious. Morning sun steams in on one side and afternoon sun on the other. The apartment overlooks some trees opposite, very rare in Paris. The second bedroom opens off the first one so mainly suitable for families. . Metro around the corner and Le Bon Marche only 5 minutes walk

A dog`s barking from the next door apartment becomes sometimes unbearable especially for those who need to take some rest and relax in the house during the day. Also, the bed linen were dirty and smelling although washed. Renewal of some of them is a must.

Unrotunately whilst the location of this apartment is excellent - and the apt. clean. The amenities left a lot to be desired - Shower ceiling was covered in mold. Phone out of order - 4 days to fix. I would have killed for some really decent pillows . The linen whilst a little tired was ok but the pillows were rubbish. Also there was not a single wardrobe or drawer in the main bedroom. We lived out of our days suitcases on the floor for the duration of our stay which is at odds with the well equipped kitchen and fantastic tv/computer facilities on offer . Even a few hooks on the wall would have been a help. Also, the stairs to the main bedroom were difficult to negotiate without a hand rail to assist. It will only be a matter of time before a fall occurs. I hope you see these comments as constructive. We loved the apartment and it's location and would certainly recommend it to our friends. PS The Financial Times weekend colour magazine(20th September) have done a fantastic article on Pigalle if you were interested.

Stephane was the most wonderful and helpful host. His apartment was beautifully decorated, in a fantastic location where you were part of a very welcoming part of Paris, where we did not feel surrounded by tourists, but were included by the locals. There were great cafes, restaurants, renown patisseries and fabulous fresh produce available. Close by were wonderful fashion and specialty stores and you could walk to most of the major sights and attractions. There were several Metro stations close by. The apartment's position was at the back of the building, so it was so amazingly quiet and relaxing. We loved our time spent there

We stayed there for over a week and loved it. It is in a great area and if you have a stroller you can easy enter the unit since it is ground level. The courtyard was cute and our daughter loved playing in it. Honestly the neighborhood is within a stones throw of an amazing restauran area with tons of young people. We never took a subway once but prefered walking everywhere which was awesome. The price is fantastic also. I have recommend this unit many times, for price and location.

A couple of the electric outlets were "shaky", coming loose from the wall (one in the bedroom, one in the livingroom). Also, the door handle on the door between the bedroom and the livingroom needs to be fixed, as it can easily be pulled apart. Otherwise the apartment was excellent!

The apartment is in a great position. We loved our time in Marais and it was a great base to work from. There were only 2 things that hould be improved... 1. The lighting in he bedroom and bathroom is poor. A number of light globes weren't working but even if they had been, you almost need to take a flashlight in when you have a shower, it' that dark. 2. Despite beig told there were one or two english speaking channels on the satellite TV we found there was none. Ths didnt bother us as we were out all the time but if it is pouring rain future english-speaking clients may appreciate a few channels en anglais. Other than that - fantastique! We would definitely use your service again. Also, your Australian rep. Tony Roberts hs been a huge help all the way through - truly excellent!

I did not find it easy to find out if you were going to deduct the deposit from our credit card. I thought you would so we did not have the deposit with us. We were put in the correct apartment the first night & then had to move to another apartment for the remainder of our stay because owner claimed our apartment was not ready. Owner failed to meet us at appointed meeting location. Owner insisted that he would only return the damage deposit via PayPal, to which we did not have an account. He refused to pay us in cash. Still waiting to receive damage deposit. Owner's mobile number was no longer in service when I tried phoning him. We did exchange numbers upon arrival. He called several times, never leaving voice mails. I finally was able to reach him to determine the problem which was not even related to our apartments.

= The appartment is in a fabulous location and really enhanced our holiday. However the beds are terrible, particularly for guests in their sixties and the appartment would be vastly improved with the provision of some comfortable beds. Also, we would recommend that the stand or holder for the shower head be repaired so that a person can shower without having to hold the shower head. Provision of a simple shower curtin would prevent water being sprayed around the bath room requiring daily cleaning. We did not allow these inconveniences to detract from our enjoyment, but considering the rental we were paying, these simple improvements should not be beyond the capacity of the owner

Although we complied with all requirements for information about our arrival time, we had to wait for an hour before the Apartrental representative arrived. We have never experienced such inefficiency and inconvenience in dealing with other Paris rental agencies. However, despite the bad start, we enjoyed our week in the apartment very much and hope to return. Our only complaints are relatively minor: the condition of saucepans and frypans in the kitchen was pretty awful, with most having been badly burned by previous tenants and not replaced. And the standard of linen provided was disappointing: four pillows on the bed but only two pillow-covers, and a mismatched set of towels, some of which were stained. We expected better in an otherwise nicely-appointed apartment!

This was excellent accommodation for us. We were 3 adults, a married couple plus a sister, and this suited as very well. Everything in the apartment was in good condition, the beds are very comfortable, it was dead quiet, and extremely central. Interesting street with all the bars - very lively at night, but cant hear a thing in the apartment. Was just difficult to find the right entrance at the start because of poor street numbers. But we really enjoyed our stay there and can recommend this apartment to especially couples with younger children. Depending on budget it may be expensive for just two people. Thanks to the owner!

We had a very nice stay, but there are a few things in the apartment that need fixing: The light in the bedroom doesn't work. The cistern on the toilet is very temperamental and hard to stop flowing all night. There were fleas in the bed! There was no cleaning liquid, brush or cloth for cleaning the dishes. The bathroom was incredibly damp making the whole apartment a little uncomfortable. The wood ceiling was rotting and falling down on all of our things and then the floor was stained from water, as well. In addition, the trundle bed broke as soon as we took it out and laid on it. That was unfortunate - we were forced to sleep on the floor. The rest of the apartment was fine, though. I stayed in this apartment for 10 days in September./October. It was bliss - a friend joined me for 5 nights and used the sofa bed which she said was very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again if it is available if I manage to get back to Paris again. It is on the top floor but as you are met by either the owner or his pleasant son who help you with your bags that is not an issue. The apartment is bright and sunny and has everything you need for a week or a month. it is furnished the great style. I can highly recommend this apartment

The apartment was excellent in location and features. We were 5 adults and the apartment was spaciuos and private. It is in a quieter residental neighbourhood where Metro, local shops, supermarket, bakeries, deli, fruit, & bottle shop all within 2 blocks. We walked home from from New Years Eve celebrated at the Arc and also walked to Montmatre. It is on the 8th floor and the Lift (elevator) was always working well but only limitied to 2 persons. The views from this apartment were SPECTACULAR - Eiffel Tower, Arc & Montmatre. Our contact person was charming & welcoming. We all had the most magical time in Paris - we even got snow!! Thank you so much.

The apartment was described as a 2 bedroom and able to cater for 5 persons. However, the main bedroom was a mezzanine in the main living area, which was noisy, stuffy and too light. The sofa/bed in the loungeroom, was totally inadequate as reasonable sleeping space. The floor boards in the loungeroom squeaked with every footstep and disturbed everyone's sleep. The lack of a proper TV screen and clear access to the advertised cable television stations was limiting, especially when we spent time indoors looking for some relaxation. There was no directory available at all in the apartment. The kitchen lacked basic implements. We even bought a sharp knife, grater and glasses.

This apartment, though small , is very centrally and in a very safe area of Paris that I would recommend it to anyone. Anyone who is interested in being able to walk to Les Halles, Saint Germaine des Pres, Rue Buci, Les Vendome, Le Louvre, Palais Garnier, Le Latin Quartier, Rue Saint Honore, Pont Neuf, Notre Dame etc...within minutes saving you both from the subway crunch and time on a tight vacation agenda.

The apartment was well equipped and beautifully warm in a week of minus O degree C temperatures. The roof top view is lovely. No 3 - there was only half a roll of toilet paper and no soap in the bathroom except for a half filled watered down liquid soap. We could only buy toilet rolls by the dozen at the supermarket down the street, of which we used two! No 9 - instructions on how to get to Rue Lacepede from Gare du Nord (Eurostar) would have been helpful No 10 There was a booklet on every appliance except the washing machine. We muddled through, but if you had no French it would be hard. Suggest owners supply correct powder for that machine and also provide a rack for drying clothing on.

The appartment was great with all its modern facilities, just a few adjustments at the beginning with the heating system especially when the weather became suddenly cold in Paris. The appartment was in very good condition. It would be ok to indicate in the description the inclusion of telephone calls to fix numbers to a number of countries, and other detailed info like available hair drier, a baby bed... that the apt. efectivelly has. The apartment was quiet and very well located. The double bed was fine but the single beds are well past their use by date, the foam had deep holes and lumps - very uncomfortable. Apartment appeared clean but floors and furnishings were quite grimy - needs a good spring clean.

We were very happy with the apartment which was neat and clean. The one problem was the double bed/sofa which had a part of the mechanism broken that made it very difficult to put up and down - Xavier struggled with it when we arrived, and we found he had not got it quite right in that the bed tended to fold up when sat on. We managed to make it safe and usable, but decided not to fold it up each morning, but leave it as a bed. As we did not spend much time in the apartment during the day, this was not a problem The bathroom sink was slow to empty, but we told Xavier at the end of our stay and he promised to fix it after we had gone. The shower was excellent and easy to control - they often aren't in hotels and apartments - but one of the sliding doors tended to stick and partly come off its track. It would have been helpful to have spare rolls of toilet paper and black bags for the rubbish bin, as we had to buy both in quantities far exceeding our needs. Xavier's welcome was wonderful, and he brought us flowers, bread, cheese and wine. Our 6-year-old grandson who was with us loved him and looked forward to seeing him again at the end!

Email very useful but we had some problems gaining access as there were not full instructions in the instruction folder. This necessitated contacting the contact person and her having to return shortly after the initial briefing which plainly caused annoyance. A fuller briefing and some trying out the equipment would have made this unnecessary. With this fuller briefing we were able to operate both the apartment computer and our own laptop which was of considerable advantage. Otherwise we had a most enjoyable stay and found the apartment very congenial.

Our host, Michele, was very friendly, obliging and because his spoke English was very easy to deal with. We absolutely loved the location of our apartment. Our only (small) complaints were that the shower needed to be attached to the wall & needded a shower curtain, and the pillows on the bed were flat & lumpy. light on wall near kitchen not functional. We would like to have had some curtains or blinds on main windows, which once had but no longer had shutters (shutters would be great!). In summer light comes in early and the main bedroom area lets light through screen which you cant fully close anyway as it gets too hot in that area. We stayed at this magnificent flat almost 3 years ago. We were 4 adults and 1 child, even though it`s only a 1 bedroom apartment it was more than adequate. I`ve been to Paris a number of times, but I have to say that my stay here has to be the best to date. The fact that the place was so homely made it easy for us to wind down after a long day`s walking around town. It was especially useful that there was a tv and dvd player so my then 3-year old nephew could get his daily dose of Scooby Doo ;-) The noise from the outside was virtually nonexistent since the flat was located behind the front building facing Place de la Nation. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Paris. I loved the location and the flat, and I`m looking forward to the day I go back for another stay. Vera, the owner was so sweet and welcoming. She`s made a folder with maps of the neighborhood and a list of sights to see and how to get there. All in all, we all had a great trip and that has very much to do with our stay at this apartment.

The apartment is gorgeous, perfect central location but extremely quiet. You can tell it is somebody's much loved home but it is not filled with too much family clutter. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need, although we hardly cooked as there is a great selection of local restaurants. There are excellent local boulangerie, fruit/veg shops & supermarket right round the corner. The only improvement I could suggest would be for Martine to have a translated version of the apartment's instructions as some of the technical operating details of washing machines etc was a challenge to our French vocab.

We made an error on our departure date and the owner had to reach us by email to let us know and then I talked with him by phone to apologize for my error and he was very gracious and nice about it. As far as our initial welcome, we would recommend there be some memo or booklet for the renter to know a bit more about the apartment functions (such as the washing machine use) and any info about nearby coffee shops, markets, and subway stops. We also stayed at an apartment in Barcelona and the owner met us, even though it was about 9pm when we arrived, and gave us a personal walk through of the apartment and guide books/maps and recommendations for restaurants and tourist attractions.

Bruno was an excellent contact to have for us and to represent your company. He was helpful and very polite and happy. He took the time to make sure that we were on the internet in the apartment which was very impressive and a bit time-consuming. He was just great and we thank him very much. The apartment was cosy and charming. The appliances were in excellent shape. I found the washer and dryer very awkward but never had to use it. the website was very good but for two things. I didn't see the billing info until weeks or months after I had confirmed the apartment so missed the payment deadline and foudn it just by chance. Also, I never have found an easy way to just go to your website and go to apartment 29. I could only get there from a bookmark I had done.

We were very happy with this charming apartment. Everything was complete and in excellent working order. Plenty of room for 2 people, easily entertained dinner guests. Location was good convenient to the Republique Metro (and other lines were even closer). Some trouble getting internet to work but open wifi was always available. We had a lovely stay, although we had a rather long wait to check in after getting to Paris at 9am. Though the people were friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage in a safe spot. The conceirge that greeted us did not speak any English which made it difficult to start with, but she was very friendly and tried her best to help us. The location was excellent and the apartment was beautiful. Perhaps some brouchures or other information about tourist attractions around Paris would have been a nice extra touch.

Catherine was a delight and left specialty crackers and a small bottle of champagne which was a lovely touch. The unit was sleek and modern with all new everything! I always felt safe and secure in Paris, my neighborhood, my building and my apartment. The only downside was not having any cross ventilation although the only window was a large double window and the children during the school pause (only at day time) play ground was very active.

My Wife, two boys aged 15 and 12 and myself enjoyed 5 nights in this charming apartment the first week in October... Bruno was at the apartment upon our arrival, as agreed, and gave us the keys and a couple of pointers to get us started in Paris.He spoke good English so language barriers, which we did experience(understandably) on occasion whilst in Paris, were not an issue. There is a very convenient Monoprix perhaps 3 minutes away. The Metro is perhaps a brisk 5 minute walk, if that, so the apartment is well situated... We found the apartment more than adequate, with even the smallest thing seemingly thought of by the owner.eg. alarm clock, pens, paper, playing cards, cheese grater and other equally ridiculous things that one seems to need when away from home in a foreign clime....!! Whilst closely positioned to all that one would want to see(via Metro..)in Paris, my family and I felt that we were in an area mius the touristy glitz..more Paris Suburban, which allowed us to become, albeit for five nights,submersed in French daily life....wonderful!! The apartment was spotless when we arrived, and I cannot fault the owners eye for detail... Incidentally, the wifi worked perfectly whilst we were there...theres even an ipod/phone dock to charge your ipod, which I must confess came in rather useful given the language barriers on TV when we got home at night !! We never felt vulnerable or threatened once....the streets were buzzing with people in Marais every evening. Does the specifications of the apartment fit your needs? Is it within your price range? If so, I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment..hence my testimonial .

We enjoyed the apartment very much and it had excellent cooking facilities. The washer and dryer were a plus. The living area was comfortable. The apartment was located on a very noisy street which made it difficult to have the windows open, but when the windows were closed they blocked the noise. The Wireless internet connection also was very good.

The only improvements the you might consider making is to have information there with regards to good restaurants, bars and supermarkets in the area. Also maybe leave a metro map for the guests and e mail your guest's before they arrive with exact position of the appartment on street. The condition of the apartment was very poor: we could not sit on the stools, so had to stand when eating; the shower surround was disgrace; the TV reception was so poor that we could not watch TV; many lights had faulty globes and the sofas were so dirty that we had to put covers over them.

I would without hesitation recommend this lovely apartment, especially if one wanted to stay in Montmartre. It is comfortable for one or two persons. The entire apartment had been remodeled with a calm inviting decor. The kitchen appliances were modern and more than adequate. The bathroom was spacious by Paris standards, as one can snugly fit four people in it. To be perfect perfect, it would have a view and possibly a dryer, but it was a great location on a quiet street just two blocks down from rue des Abbesses and then three short blocks from rue Lepic. One day I even actually walked to and from the Charles Garnier Opera House.

We were a cople and this appartement is just for two. It is samll but it is total new, renovated, everything is new, good equipement, the wiew is on the yard (kindergarden), really nice and calm, evrything opearted, the elevator too, the owner is vry nice person and you can discuss with her. We recomend this appartement also because of very good location and also a very specific french cafe occopied with young stusdents and live music in the afternoon. Very good.

We stayed in this apt for 4 nights in mid Dec 2009. Its a PERFECT apt for exploring Paris - short walk to so many of the major attractions and a short metro ride to others. The apt had every convenience, was centrally located, and we could walk from there to just about anywhere we wanted to go (several Metro stops were nearby too!.) What a perfect location! My family (2 adults, 2 children) absolutely loved our little home away from home while in Paris in July 2009. The check-in and out procedure was very easy and smooth and the apartment had everything that we needed. The only small negative was that the apartment above us had a very loud party until 4 a.m. one night but it definitely sounded fun and they put an apology note on the staircase the next morning which was nice. So close to the metro and a short walk to the Eiffel Tower. I Would definitely recommend this place!

Great location and worked really well for our family of 6. We enjoyed coming back and cooking dinner together. Bathrooms need some updating and cleaning (bathroom shower curtain was mouldy). Downstairs shower water did not heat up so we weren't able to use it. Washer but no dryer. Washer was mouldy. Apartment was on the cold side despite having radiators turned to high, especially downstairs.

We arrived in Paris in a particularly cold time. It was unfortunate that we could not use the second heater in the lounge rom as the other small one was not sufficient for the first few days. 2. An incredible situation happened on New Year's Eve of all night's when there was a power failure in the stairwell. We noticed it as we went to go out to view the lights and have dinner at 21h00. With no key to open the two securitydoors in the downstairs passageway, we could not get out! At Natasza's suggestion we knocked on every door to see if any other residents had a key. No luck! No one was in! Rang Natasza again and after lots of effort on her behalf, and lots of phone calls back and forth, she arranged for the concierge to come to the apartment and give us HER key which we arranged to return the next day. We finally got out at 23h00 in time for the lights but not for dinner. No power next morning either, plus the dim security lights in the stairwell were now not working also. Luckily we had a torch. It was dark!! At all times Natasza was extremely helpful even though this was a situation that she had not encountered before. We have nothing but praise for her efforts. Finally we arranged to keep the concierge's key until we left, arranging to leave it with the restaurant owner below who was more than helpful to Natasza and to us. The power was still blacked out when we departed on 2nd. We have two suggestions: an override key must be attached to apartment keys in case this happens again, and a torch is required in the apartment if there is not already one. Fortunately this happened towards the end of our vacation and did not spoil it in any way.

The apartment was extremely clean except for the refrigerator which had a fair amount of food in it. Half used jars of things and opened milk, butter etc. We did not appreciate this. The person Yacine did not see us (as arranged) at the apartment on the morning that we vacated the apartment. This was annoying for us. We waited and then decided to leave the key and go as we had an international flight to catch. We found a full wet load of washing in the washing machine after a day in the apartment. We did not know what to do with this as there were no instructions on how to work the machine or dryer. We did try to get the machine to dry the clothes but couldn't work out what we needed to press. We would have appreciated no wet washing left. We felt the apartment was perfect but that the person charged with meeting us was disinterested, and whoever cleaned the apartment did not do a good job regarding fridge and washing.

The apartment at 22 rue Pierre Lescot was exceptional. We were very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Anissa was a lovely host. Being unfamiliar with this area of Paris it took us a while to become orientated and find our local supermarche, boulongerie etc - unfortunately it took us a couple of days to locate the users manual in the apartment which contained all of this very useful information. Maybe this could be left in a prominent location for future guests. We loved Paris and we loved our stay in this beautiful and very well appointed apartment. The location of the appartment is very attractive, in walking distance of the Louvre as well as St Germain des Pres and Luxembourg, Quartier Latin, many bistrós and galleries in the neighbourhood. The appartment itself is very quiet and peaceful. It is a small appartment, in very good taste, but as stated on the site, it is not suitable for elderly and those with restricedt mobility, on account of the staircase. The owner does take maintenance very serious, do not hesistate to tell her of anything out of order.

The Apartment is in a wonderful location. Unfortunately it is directly over a very nice restaurant which has LIVE piano music 5 days of the week. The piano stops at 12 midnight. Bring ear plugs or do what we did and go and enjoy the food and piano. It was a very nice.

The apartment was very good but there were a couple of small points which could have improved it as follows: 1. there were only 2 very skinny pillows on the bed, another 2 would have been good 2. there was only 1 tea towel and we were there for 5 nights so could have done with some more 3. we were told that there was wifi but there wasn`t and in fact although there is an internet connection it was not pointed out to us despite asking at time of check in These were extremely minor points and the apartment #505 was extremely clean and well equipped in a great location. We stayed 5 nights and would recommned both the apartment and Apartrental to friends

As much as we liked the apartment and appreciated the efficiency of apartrental we had a problem with the owner. He entered the apartment on the morning of our third day. My son was asleep in the bedroom, heard him enter and go through all of the rooms, and use the bathroom. He opened the door of the bedroom where my son was sleeping and demanded to know who he was. We were quite schocked by this and reported it to our contact.

There was quite a wait as the owner had yet to leave and the cleaner to clean but we were advised of this in advance so it was not a problem. Photos of the apartment were accurate, but not sure if the bed in the main bedroom is queen size but anyway, the bed was comfortable. Instructions for use of the television (with 2 different remotes) the gas heating, and more stable electrical connections, for example, for some of the lights, toaster etc would make it easier to use these facilities with confidence. The Internet was very slow and unstable, and the TV impossible, but we were out most of the time anyway, so didn`t miss the TV, and we enjoyed our stay. thank you. Margaret and Bruce

10 Rue de Four is a lovely location and wonderful apartment. We didn`t find the large market down Mabillion until day three of our stay as I was busy counting out money when Maurico was hanging out the window showing my husband and son where things were and it just didn`t register with them. What a great place that was for food shopping. Love the bakery right across the street from them as well. I think a map showing these important places would be a good idea to have in the book. The apartment was well stocked with kitchen items and such. Having the ability to call the States for free was very nice. Thank you! And, free Wi-Fi was helpful in managing our business needs and local research. Washer and dryer were a plus. The double paned windows kept out the street noise and we slept quite well. The pull-out couch bed isn`t very comfortable and could use a better mattress. Wondered why there wasn`t a glass partition between the tub and sink? Had to position the shower head as to not splash water all over the place. The toilet seat is loose and slids around when you sit on it. Tried to re-secure it but it would slip none the less. Would be helpful to tell first time renters how to get there from airport using the train and underground. We rode the train to a station and had we known that we should then transfer to Mabillion we would have. We took a cab for what was really a short ride but cost us 12 Euros. All in all it was a nice apartment that we would rent again.

We were at first uncertain about what to do with rubbish. Better explanationwould be helpful. Would suggest putting Metro Maps and additional tourist information in apartments. This apartment is in a great location, close to everything and is in charming old Parisian building. Our contact was there to meet us even though our train was delayed. However there were a few shortcomings, The second bedroom is in the loft and has a narrow staircase. It was comfortable but you need to be agile and it was hot in the heatwave at the time There was No toilet paper or tea towels or bottle opener The kettle was broken, the shower in the bathroom had very old fittings which did not work properly but the major problem was the Refrigerator . Only the freezer was working and we had to spend a lot of time making ice blocks to keep our food cold. We had to throw some of it away. However. when I emailed our contact he delivered a new Kettle, offered to reimburse us for the bottle opener and offered to get someone to fix the fridge. We only had a couple of days left so did not want to accommodate a service man into that time . Loved the location and really enjoyed staying in a Parisian building instead of a new apartment which could be anywhere in the world

24 Place Dauphine was the perfect location for us in Paris. An oasis in amongst the busy tourist areas. Excellent restaurants locally, easy transport within walking distance. The apartment is charming and worked well for our 2 week stay. Our only negative comment would be the quality of the linen. The pillow cases actually had holes and very thin. I removed the blanket which looked as if it could do with a wash and the stained bedspread immediately. A couple of the mismatched towels were also stained. The replacement of these items would make such a difference. I also noticed dust on the bedroom cupboard and items on top. So, other than the above comments we had a great stay in our "home" away from home. Neill and Xavier were very helpful and I appreciated Helene`s prompt attention - thank you. Would definitely return and recommend this apartment.

the apartment was excellent and provided all that the website promised - the welcome person provided a very helpful tour of the apartment and surrounding neighborhood to show where shops and services were located - everything needed was within 5-10 minutes and the tram and RER service allowed easy travel into the city with links to all metro lines. The park was a wonderful oasis to find relaxation and exercise in the evenings. Ideal for a holiday with children.

My family and I had a fantastic stay in Paris. The apartment was very clean and extremely well positioned for us (only 15 mins walk from Notre Dame), on a street full of restaurants and shops so it was lvely and had lots of character. The apartment was great. Very clean and convenient. I especially liked the walk-in closet with lots of shelves and the ironing board. It is located right next to a metro station (Etienne Marcel). The street is pedestrian only. There are plenty of little restaurants nearby (this is the reason it can be a little loud at night). There is also a Monoprix supermarket right around the corner. Yves was very nice. He helped us to get a taxi on the way back. We enjoed our stay.

The only comments I would like to make were that there was no air coditioning/working fan and it got hot; there weren`t enough towels (2 towels and 2 hand towels for 3 of us) which wouldn`t have been a problem except that there was an issue with water collecting on the floor of the bathroom which we had to keep mopped up.

The apartment sits on top of the subway, that should have been disclosed as you can hear it, and feel it from inside the apartment. The linens were abominable---terrible, terrible terrible! The poorest of quality and the beds were small and uncomfortable. The kitchen lacked complete, matching sets of dishes, flatware, and glassware--this is not acceptable. I would not stay in this apartment again for any price. The owner should spend some money and effort at upgrading the linens, the glassware, the dinnerware, and the flatware.

The studio is just big enough for 2 people and OK to stay for couple of nights. I would probably prefer a one bedroom apart for a longer stay. The owner was very efficient to liaise with and very helpful. Visitors need to know that its part of an residential apartment block so there is some noise from residents. There are also stairs to navigate with luggage, ie no lifts on the premises. Firstly, the state of the appartment was quite poor with paint peeling, and the wood at the bottom of the windows showing through were the water was starting to rot the frame. Then there was the fact that there were no overhead lighting in the kitchen or loungeroom or bedroom: only lamps, and not very bright ones. Lastly, we expected to rent the appartment and feel like we were at home, except we felt a bit like intruders, as the all the owners possession were still in the unit and stuffed into a small storage room.

I loved my stay. Suggestions to improve the service: the emails I received from Apartrental were confuse, they mixed up the period I wanted with the time of my arrival. About the apartment: 1 - the bed of the main room is not very good (maybe it is a little old) 2 - the shower is a problem, because it flows, the water spreads in the entire bathroom. 3 - The internet wi-fi didn´t work well, it stopped working on the 3rd day of my 6 days stay. 4 - I suggest that the TV stays in the dining room, not in a bedroom. Besides this, it was lovely. The owner eas very kind and left us tips about restaurants and etc.

Appartment was ideally located in the sense of being central, but being at the front of the building and only on the first floor it was noisy at night. Mezzanine bed was unrealistic and ladder could not have been negotiated in bare feet without serious risk. We slept in the main room.

I`ve already written in the livre d`or of the apartment. It was great and I would definitely rent it again. I would only recommend the purchase of a salad spinner (essoreuse) and some wooden tongs so as not to burn your fingers when trying to remove toast from the grille-pain. This apartment is wonderfully quiet to be in such a busy area/street, there is lots of light, and the furnishings are very nice.

My wife and I were received very warmly by the owner`s mother who had put some basics in the fridge. A nice touch. The apartment is bigger than it appears from the photos and is absolutely brilliant. This is so much better than an anonymous hotel room. The only negative to the whole experience is the noise from the street on Friday and Saturday nights. The rue Mouffetard is definitely a party street. If you are young, get out and join in. If you are older, buy some ear plugs. However, this did not detract from our stay and we would absolutely definitely stay there again. This area of Paris is amazing and if you have a romantic soul and stay in this apartment you really will be living the dream. A brilliant experience!

Everything in the apartment was just perfect, it was a little noise early in the morning because of work in the building. The only little problem was on leaving-day, the guy who had to receive the apartment was late and in a hurry and very bad mood, and the cab he had "gently" hired for us on our arrival, was extremely expensive, and was not really a cab but a big van for much more persons than we needed.

The main problem was the arrival. We called twice upon leaving the airport but no one was there when we arrived. Calling again, we were told Xavier would be there in 30 minutes but he didn`t arrive for over two hours. Calling him after 30 minutes seemed to annoy him. We waited and finally called another number we had been given. It was only after this that he finally arrived. Because of the delay upon check-in we would not stay again. It`s just too stressful to take a 10+ hour flight and then be forced to wait, confused, outside the apartment on top of that. Otherwise we had no problems and it was a lovely apartment within easy walk of the metro, bakeries & Rue Mouffetard.

The photos of the apartment on your website were beautiful and the apartment could easily look exactly like the photos. However, there were many things cluttering the apartment that weren`t in the pictures: a ladder leaning against the wall in the living room, another ladder on the terrace, nail brush, cleaning supplies and toiletries from previous renters in the bathroom, the drapes were not the same as in the picture and had a sloppy look to them. The dryer did not work properly and there was no instruction manual for operating the washing machine.

The apartment was very clean, calm and cosy! I felt at home right from the first moment. The caretaker was there to open the door and explain all about the facilities in the studio and the building. After my arrival the owner called me to ask if everything was fine. Yes it was!!! To my big surprise he had kept a bottle of champagne in the fridge for me, together with some welcome words on a postcard. All together: more than I expected. Certainly 100% recommendable!

This spacious, clean and well-appointed apartment is simply wonderful. Its location on a nice street in the middle of a bustling quarter is truly an oasis after a long day/evening. The boulangerie/patisserie right around the corner is fabulous; wonderful shopping is literally blocks away and, of course, there is so much, much more closeby. Also, restaurants galore begin right across the street. Apartment is very nice and cosy, and in case you like Monmartre it is well located. I think that apartment doesn`t have 70m2, and it is comfortable for up to 4 persons. It is better for family than for 2 couples due to lack of space and privacy. In any case, I would recommend it for visiting Paris. Our host (Tanya) is very nice and she was available whenever we needed her.

We had an excellent stay in this appartment and everything was exactly as we had hoped for. Our only problem was that we had an issue with the washing machine/dryer on our last day. We were unable to open the door as it had self locked and our washing was left inside the machine. Unfortunatley we have not heard from the owners as to wether or not they have been able to retreive our clothing! Apart from this, we had a lovely evening with the owner of the appartment sharing experiences and languages which we enjoyed immensely and we have already recommended this website to several other people.

I was a bid nervous about paying money over the internet for an apartment I had not seen in real life and to a business i new little about. After a few discussions over the phone and email responces i was more comfortable. But felt better when we arrived in Paris and an apartment actually existed. The location was wonderful. The apartment had everthing, it was like someone just moved out so we could stay. Screwdrivers light bulbs evan vacuum cleaner bags. We couldn` have asked for a better apartment. There are many things in the apartment, that was not written in the description, and were a good surprise. 2 floors, double toilette and showers. WIFI connection and free phone in Paris. Including that in the description of the apartment, would help you get more rentals. One thing, that should be improved, is the lack of a door in the bedroom, there is only a curtain. Not understood the reason for it. The owner is very nice, and agreed to all the requests we had. We had a great vacation.

This apartment was such a delight on arrival, the atmosphere was what we were hoping for of an apartment in Paris. The location off Rue Mounge and very close Boulevard St Germaine were ideal. Theres an internet cafe just around the corner and every convenience one requires. We will definitely be staying at Rue Cardinel Lemoine again at this address in the future. Staying here made us fall in love with Paris even more.

We loved our stay here. Why? Jerome, our host, was warm and ready to help us with any questions we had. the apartment came equipped even with laundry soap left by former visiters, along with other items left by others, so we didn`t have to spend money on things like salt and laundry soap! The closest métro (subway or tube) to Mouffetard is Place Monge. When you get out of the métro, turn left and edge along the park to your left. Go 2 blocks and voilà, you`re there. And that park at the métro becomes a public market on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It`s true that Mouffetard is busy and noisy, you should know that before booking, but that`s what we wanted: to be in the middle of some action. There`s a friendly crêpérie right next door. There are places to go out, restaurants, cafés, and on the weekend the street becomes a flea market. At about 80 Mouffetard and upward, the street has lots of vendors selling fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, breads, partries, etc. Just past that, at the end of the street is a square or "place" with a wine vendor. Enjoy your stay. And, by the way, the rue Mouffetard dates from Roman times; it was a market street back then as well. And close by is a Roman arena, called l`arène de Lutece, which you might want to check out. Loïs C., Montréal, Québec We had a wonderful stay.

Positives: The St. Andre des Arts apartment was nice--clean, nice beds, good plumbing, and a working elevator. The kitchen was rather small, but everything was provided. The sofa bed was even comfortable for two people. Negatives: There should be an instruction booklet for the washing machine. It was impossible to figure out how to set it for different cycles. The plastic "coffee table" in the living room was a hazard. It was inconvenient checking in on a Sunday. We really needed someone to call us and let us know when to arrive, or at least to leave a note in the lockbox with the keys to tell us when the apartment would be ready. This is a very lively neighborhood at night, especially when there is a football game. It`s fun, but bring your earplugs if you want to sleep.

Very quaint and central apartment. However mainly habited just by tourists which leads to lack of surrounding facilities such as a supermarket (just small markets around). i understood that once there were good fish, meat and other food stores that slowly but surely disapeared with the French population in that area. nevertheless we enjoyed the apartment very much - and even for its 182 stairs which gave us a justification to eat more baguettes and croissants!

the location of the apartment was fantastic but there was a large group of young men who were extremely loud each and every nite and it was right outside the doors of the building. There was no toilet paper provided. the key didn t work properly and we had to spend alot of time dealing with that, but the owner did say he was changing that immediately. Other than that the apartment was nice and the location was great.

We lived in the apartment of David in November 2011. Apartment very well located 5 minutes from Place de la Bastille, 2 minutes to the rue de Rivoli, 10 minutes from the la Cite. In addition, around the apartment within 5 minutes there are butics, supermarkets and local little shops. And - of-course! - a lot of restaurants and brasseries where you can just sit comfortably with a cup of coffee or have a delicious meal. The kitchen is very well equipped: dishes, dishwasher etc. Washing machine with dryer, all kinds of little things such as soaps, powders, dishwasher,s tablets, towels, oil, tea and other help to feel like at home. We also found many guides in English and French languages (if we knew, would not bring your own!) And even the scales. David and his wife were very nice and kind, greeted and escorted us to his apartment and gave us a lot of useful tips. As well, David has helped us bring the suitcases on the 4th floor. We got a lot of fun and will definitely return there in next time.. Highly recommend this apartment to everyone. Thank you again. Boris and Marina

it would be useful if you inform your guests that if they do not have to meet any of your staff at check-out, they can just leave the keys to the apartment on the table and walk out. this is important before catching airplanes etc. Further, although we enjoyed the elegant plates and glasses, it would be useful to have ordinary, down-to-earth plates and cups as well.

The apartment was comfortable, pleasant and warm but it could be improved with some redecoration. The front right-hand bedroom (where our children slept) was unattractive. The walls looked damp and the paintwork was peeling on the windows. it looked a bit shabby. The left-hand front bedroom (the owners study) was OK, though you felt like you were sleeping in a study. The blinds on both front windows were no use for keeping out the light. We had to use airline masks to help us sleep. A nice, modern shower unit in each bathroom would also be nice, rather than a bath. Having a hand-held shower is a bit basic.

This a lovely apartment in a very convenient location. Lots of points for all. The only item that spoilt it was the neighbour below, who complained twice about noise. Once, was because we accidently knocked the keys off the bench and they tumbled to the floor! We ALWAYS observed the condition of taking shoes off whilst in the apartment. However, C`est la vie! W have stayed in this apartment before, and love the location, as well as the historical quality of the building. We did find the dishes to be old and some were cracked. There was only one wine glass. The lights did not work in the kitchen. Only two towels were available. Pillows were stained and old, and needed replacing. Would have been good to have at least one full toilet roll in the bathroom. We had to shop for this as soon as we arrived, because there was none in the bathroom. With these few changes, the apartment would be wonderful. Ishie (sp?) was very nice and helpful, and assisted us with luggage. He is a great guy! We will definitely rent from you again.

My only complaint is really that the sheets and towels were not of sufficient quality and the towels were still wet when we arrived. These need to be upgraded to match the quality of the apartment. The cleaning was not top quality, but really it was a great experience overall. Thank you.

I think it would have been easier to deal with Apartrental for total payment. There were issues with the second instalment not being fully received by the owner`s Bank. It was only 20 Euros but it was annoying plus we had to pay additional bank charges. So a further 33 Euros had to be outlayed. It would have been easier just dealing with a central agency and the ability to use a credit card

the confirmation number did not have the actual address of the street (no street number) so it was hard to find. Your property manager was excellent in communicating with me ahead of time, so I had his mobile number and he talked to the cab driver and we arrived with ease. The apartment is on a busy corner with no air conditioning, so it was loud to sleep with the windows open. However, this was mentioned on the site and it was not a surprise, and we took it into consideration.

We did have a wonderful stay in Paris and loved the location of the apartment. We would live to rent the apartment again because we found it to be a good set of trade-offs. We were disappointed with the lack of supplies including everything from towels, wash clothes, napkins, toilet paper, silver wear etc. There were fpur of us at the apartment with two children. We found ourselves doing the dishes and laundry everyday and without a dryer the towels took days to dry. That would be okay if there were more of them to hold us over. Overall, we had a wonderful time and look forward to returning to Paris!

We send an email with specific questions on cancellation conditions and we never receive any answers. Also, for the apartment itself, the contact number has been changed so we were not able to contact the person, we wanted to call to agree on the arrival hour and were not able to do so. Second thing, the downstairs code has changed between the confirmation date and the day we took the apartment , and we were not updated , therefore we got stuck outside for seversl minutes until another guest of the building got in.

Whilst the website was factually accurate in describing the actual number of beds, but I do not believe it is appropriate to advertise the apartment as sleeping 7 adults - it is too small for that (perhaps include a note suitable for a couple and children only). Also, the main bedroom mattress was old and squeaky, and the kitchen somewhat outdated.

L`appartement est très coquet, propre et tout à fait "modernisé" tout en conservant son cachet ancien. Par ailleurs, je crois qu`il faut savoir que le district où se trouve l`appartement est assez bruyant en soirée en raison des restos et des bars à proximité. On aime ou on n`aime pas... Aussi, le lit à l`étage est très confortable, mais le divan-lit l`est beaucoup moins : c`était parfait pour notre fille, mais ç`aurait été inconfortable pour des adultes.

Description of apartment does indicate "walk-up", but were I to describe, I would add, "Walk-up may be too much for handicapped or senior citizen". The reason I mention that is because I am a very healthy senior, but had a foot injury prior to arrival, and it was a long, slow climb to top of stairs. Personally, I love "vintage" Paris, so the apartment was charming, and the view of the Pantheon from the window added to that charm. My daughter had the bedroom to herself, which allowed for privacy. I would also call attention to the Luxembourg RER station, which is as close to the apartment as the Place Monge station the latter requires inconvenient changing of trains to and from CDG Airport. The walk from either station is about 10 minutes. For example, I might describe as follows: Round trip from CDG airport to Luxembourg station by RER is less than 20 Euros, and upon arrival walk uphill towards the Pantheon, etc. I enjoy breakfast at the "Pavillon de la Fontaine" in the Jardin du Luxembourg, across from the RER station-all about a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Hope this hasn`t been too much. Unfortunately, my daughter wasn`t able to coordinate the airline schedule with time of rental, so we lost a few days. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful stay, and the young gentleman who was awaiting our arrival was very pleasant. Merci beau coup, George R. Broadhead

Very quite location. by night it was like to be in the countryside. Very clean appartment, nice bedding. The kitchen was very handy. Neill, our contact was very friendly. Just for his information, in Quartier Latin, at only 10-12 minutes walking from the appartment we found small supermarket. Definitively recommended!

great apartment, but if you have problems climbing 93! stairs everyday it is not for you. also there is no wifi at the apartment or near.

Although the beds were a bit uncomfortable, the biggest shock to us was how rude the initial person greeting us was and how unhelpful she was- even accusing us of doing things to the TV that we didn`t when we asked about re-tuning it. When I inquired about the fold out couch for a bed for our tall daughter for the 9 days she snapped that if we wanted a bed it would cost a lot of money and if we didn`t like it we could go somewhere else. In the end we were too scared to ring when the light globes blew and I didn`t use the stove in case I did something wrong and we would have to contact her. Also, even though she knew our travel had taken less time than expected and we were 2 hours early, waiting in the street, she did not attempt to contact us when the appointment before us did not show up, just mentioned she could have come earlier. However, in direct contrast to that the two wonderful people we met that signed us out were amazing and we wished we had our initial contact with them. They were so helpful and cheerful. Thanks to them we saved lots of time and money to get out to the airport. It was a lovely way for us to finish our holiday. The location was brilliant and the appartment was light, clean and comfortable.

We would have liked a top sheet as the quilt was quite warm. I removed the cover to use as a sheet so it was ok. Apartment was a bit noisy with the windows open but its such a brilliant location we didn`t mind. A fan would have enabled us to cool down without opening the windows. We bought a sharp knife. Would have liked some wine glasses. But really, the apartment was delightful and we had a brilliant holiday there. We will definitely use you again.

Overall nice and quiet place, homey feeling. Kitchen is a very small niche. Some renovation/fix up are due already (e.g., the wooden floor, inconsistent hot water supply in bathroon, and such). Written instrcutions in English for appliances required. Bed and mattress can be improved. Location is good. Owner is nice and attentive. We had good stay there afterall.

Yves was wonderful and helpful, he even met us outside the train station and helped us carry our bags to the apartment, he also helped us carry our bags to the taxi on departure! The only negative comment on the apartment was that there was sometimes a sewage odour coming up from the shower drain.

The upper shower was not working. I would suggest to have in writting , plastified, the instructions of how to use the home appliances and other usefull informations such as telephone numbers to be called in case of emergency etc. Tourism informations, etc supermarket adress, and others. We found additional pillows, but no pillowcases available.

excellent apartment. If I would have to say something negative was the acces to get in and get out of the shower...if you are not in good fit , it could be complicated (particularly for older people)

A fan would have been very nice as the street is very noisy and the window consequently needed to be closed at night. The window, by the way, almost totally blocks all street noise. But is was a little warm with the window closed. Very nice apartment.

We had an excellent stay in this apartment. Although we were VERY late, (due to our flight being late and waiting for pre-arranged lift from airport, which did not turn up) we were greeted very warmly by David, our host. After David helped us with our bags, we were shown in detail the workings of appliances etc. in the apartment and were also pleased to find lots of information at hand about Paris/France including a French dictionary. Wonderful, since they are heavy and this allowed for more shopping. The apartment is very charming, comfortable, clean and quite. The location is fantastic. All you could need at hand with easy access to monuments and sights and great shopping at the door step. The area is vibrant and safe. The apartment was stocked with condiments and food staples to make for a very homely stay. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Shame that our check in was a mess - also the lack of a spare key (as there were three of us) were expected to waste our day waiting for the new key to arrive. Paid for cleaning, but the apartment was not really clean to begin with - 1 tea towel for a week stay!! & also bath towels not good quality. no continuity with the crockery etc.... chipped cups - no microwave

We enjoyed the patio very much. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bed was comfortable. Xavier was delightful. The points that were not so good: we could not manage to have enough hot water to run a full bath, which is very important to us. The toilet appears to need some repair as it continues to run after the flush. The couches were not very comfortable for us.

We found the apartment very satisfying good location, safe and comfortable, it was cold the last week as we had no heat as it would not be turned on for another week. before our arrival I had e-mailed to your representative asking a few questions as clairification to if he would be at the appartment if we were lat, if I could pay the remainder of what was owed by master card as I didnt want to carry a large amount of cash with me. He did e-mail me a few days later saying he would be there when we arrived but didnt answe my other questions so I was shocked when we got there and had to pay in cash he did take me to an atm machine. and as far as I know to date have not received my damage deposit back. but all said and done we had a very positive stay and would certainly recomend you to our friends and use your services again.

The apartment was not very clean, the sofa bed of very poor quality, the dishwasher did not work (we were told the washing machine did not work, which would not have been a problem). Clean it. Spend a little money to improve the furniture (get better chairs for the table and get a table that`s a little more stable). The bathroom could do with redoing. The kitchen should be redone.

I don`t understand questions 9 & 10 so the score of 8 is the default presented not my score! Here are some ideas for improvement: 1) I think you should consider changing the small white towels you provide since they feel like kitchen towels... 2) Consider providing toilet paper since people just arriving should at least not worry about that, first thing upon entering the place :-) 3) When describing facilities of apartments on the website you should clearly mark whether it is a smoking or non-smoking place! 4) since there is a washing machine & no drier, there should be some kind of facility for those who do use the machine to place the wet laundry.

Overall, a wonderful vacation! Few negatives: we stayed 2 weeks and inadequate linens were provided for week 2, so we laundered linens ourselves. We were unable to reach representative Xavier when we had minor problem with TV. Reason: the phone did not work at his number. We have had international phones in past rentals. All things considered, it was wonderful and we are considering renting for one month next year! Merci!

We had a fantastic vacation in the apartment, which we enjoyed as a well located base for exploring Paris. The welcome and service from the owner was great, and we can highly recommend this apartment for a family of two as well as four persons. Anna was very helpful and efficient. Montsouris Park across the road is magnificent in autumn. Transport to and from central Paris is frequent with bus or RER alternatives. A great apartment for two couples or family of four, but also works satisfactorily for up to six.

Great location, great apartment, spacious and functional, quiet and luminous. At last a dining table that can cater for more than 6 people. Fitted kitchen with all amenities, missing a microwave though! Would stay there again for sure!
